REVPAC Calls for Removal of Dana Bash!

This is super silly.

Why focus on one irrelevant reporter when she is not the problem?? If you want to change anything you have to understand what the real problem is before you can attempt to fix. And the real problem is the corporate media propaganda machine owned by the status quo spewing propaganda that props up the status quo 24/7, not some irrelevant horse face reporter.

Please people, get real, will ya?

Good. Raise awareness of specific incidents of blatant media bias and attempts to slant public perception. When people focus on these instances, it'll even further the growing perception that the MSM is nothing but an establishment tool for control.

RevPac has done nothing wrong. It's rather honorable, I think.

Called, left a message about her personal bias affecting her ability to tell the news and explained why she should be removed and placed on another topic. I made mention that I was a "regular viewer" and that I would no longer be watching if they continued to allow her to report on the election.

Wow, I actually thought she treated the edit of her material more than fair. In fact, I think she turned what could have been a very bad day for Paul into a fairly decent showing given the events of the day.

Sorry to hear RevPAC was upset. I sure wasn't.

GO RevPAC!!!!!

She messed up0 and crossed the line.... Here it is:

For all those here who say dont, she is not guilty and other excuses watch video. From someone this must start. She is first and we should get behind this.

She didn't have a choice. She knew full well the interview was being taped by others who would readily avail the truth of her intentions to the public.

Exactly. I thought she meant "I'm sure you talk to Republicans [...] just like I am". Even if she said that she was worried about RP, it can easily be spun in a different way that will make us look ridiculous. This is a terrible move. We need to choose our battles!

What's even worse is that John King caught the Ron Paul bug in Iowa and was relatively fair towards RP. These reporters are human beings! Even if they are controlled they have some leeway so we need to win them over, not attack them for something they didn't even do.

She did say what was quoted and it was an obvious personal conern to her. Very unprofessional.

My girlfriend sent Dana Bash the youtube video of this on Twitter and I'm sure other people did too. Did Bash correct her comments at any point on the air after that? NO!!!

While I agree to an extent, the fact is, correspondents come with bias based on their own paradigms. Chances are very good, that with a little digging you would find that she is an Israeli lobby sympathizer and they HATE Ron Paul's views on Israel. And some correspondents just can't seem to leave their biases at the door. Her bias is blatent.

One CBS employee Lou Miller states on her page:
Lou Miller: Jan, As a longtime employee of CBS Corp I find it embarrassing to be associated with our network when journalists such as yourself choose to fabricate the news rather then report it. You reported polling numbers that only added up to 65% of respondents, what about the other 35%? Do you really think your viewers are that stupid that they would not notice an obvious omission? In the future please try to demonstrate some integrity in your work, because your performance reflects on the network as well as your many fellow CBS employees who take pride in our work

Pretty dumb, IMO. Like someone else said, she obviously meant 'just like I am (talking to people)'

So you are okay with her follow up interview trying to pull a "gotcha" on Ron? Are you equally in disagreement with Jesse abruptly ending the interview?

And please someone explain why demanding her reassignment after these two incidences is sooooooo unreasonable. Shall we let her continue on trying to taint his campaign or try to do something about it?

unintended consequences.

revpac's release will AT BEST be ignored.

AT WORST it will reinforce the meme that Ron Paul and his supporters have been complaining about a black out the entire race and can't handle the heat when the media actually starts covering him.

She did say what was quoted
Jeez. Take ANY two sentences spoken by Paul. The second sentence is likely to start with "but". In common English, the word "but" means "but ignore anything I said in the previous statement, because only the following statement applies".

Stop crying wolf.

It's not heat we can't handle, it's blatent bias. Well proven by this woman.

What is this??

I agree with others here stating that Bash is not significantly worse than other journalists with respect to covering Ron. That bar is really low though.

If RevPAC thinks it's important, I'll make the call, and I did. I trust them and believe there must be some things going on behind the scenes with Bash that we're not privy to.
