Revolution PAC to air TV programing and commercials in Florida

Why are all the Super PAC's focused on FL when the campaign is not? Why not have these PAC's totally own NV or even if they want a broader audience, save up for the next primary state like AZ... or for an even bigger audience wait until Ohio, Tenn, Virginia...

Frankly, I think it's a much better approach. PACs are supposed to complement; not compete. They shouldn't mess with the states that the campaign is actively campaigning in, in my opinion. Especially, if they are going to run inaccurate conspiracy stuff like FTF.

I hope because a few very rich folks thought, hmmm, maybe we should consider every state and every individual in it is equally important... (as opposed to acting upon polls and a distorted delegate process), use Florida as a bellweather, fine-tune the process, and follow the primary/caucus schedule around the country to create a true revolution in the minds of people everywhere.

Perhaps those old Avaroth videos.. those were classics. One of his is what actually turned me.

Perhaps some of them can be run rather than the freedom to fascism. I admit, I don't think it would hurt - but I might not be objective enough to make a determination.

Perhaps AdamT can speak on what the impetus for them to do it was. who knows.

Yes, avaroth had some of the best made videos of Ron Paul back in 2008.

Anyone spending time and money in Florida still wants Paul to do well with respectable numbers that say he is in this and to help keep some momentum. No one wants to see him in 4th again either, especially behind Santorum.

Oh this goes great with our next 24 hour broadcast of the Elder Protocols of Xenu on the network! I loved Russo, but that film leaves the impression that there is no law requiring us to pay taxes and that's clearly not true which is why Dr.Paul wants to work on repealing the 16th Amendment. I'm fine with For Liberty though, I think that films excites people and stirs passions.

Thank God for Aaron Russo, though you could say I'm biased (disclosure, as NY Chair, I endorsed him for the LP nomination for President, from the podium of the LP '04 convention). His documentary still stands up today, despite tired accusations of inaccuracies that don't stand up to scrutiny. A lot of people here do not recognize how the tax honesty movement and the 9-11 truth movement both sacrificed their own momentum as movements in 2007 to get behind building the Paul movement in its beginning months. It's worse that many of them are ungrateful to boot, demeaning and belittling these groups to this day, or accusing them of "hijacking Paul to suit their own agenda," when the truth is the movements sacrificed their agenda to support Paul's. Three cheers for the FL PAC for reprising and honoring the heritage of the modern liberty movement!

Convincing article. Is it factually correct? If so RP could throw out the income tax on day 1 yes? :)

as much as anything out there ( no one argues that they were corrupt bastards and Jekyll Island was conspiracy against USA IMO ) ... there is another argument but I'll leave it to Dr Paul

Personally, Freedom to Fascism was my "wake up moment". It was the first time I saw Ron. If u combine these films, I think they help bring people around to the message. Once you get the message of Liberty across to people, the rest is cake.

It was mine too - Aaron Russo, RIP.

Full disclosure, I volunteer for Revolution PAC making their grassroots videos. I agree with the initial thought that this is a "bad idea." But the full story---I may not be
able to fully reveal...but let's just say that someone wanted to make sure that lots of time was available. So we have so much time - that, frankly it had to be filled quickly with material. Everything will be peppered with our own ads, which I believe are unparalleled. See:

People really in the know may justly find fault with this video. However, after reading the latest PPP results, Florida seems it can really use any eye opener. Somehow, 65% found Santorum likeable and he is polling at 15% to Paul at 9%. This state needs HELP getting people off the kool-aid before they can start to appreciate someone like Paul!!!!

I haven't read all the pages on this thread yet - but thought I'd throw in my two cents:

This was the first movie I ever watched with any kind of conspiracy tinge to it.
That was back in 2006.
In 2007 I heard of a candidate running for president that was against the IRS, the Fed, the real ID act, returning to the gold standard, etc ...

I haven't looked back since.
I showed it to my wife last year and she really liked it and wanted her side of the family to see it so they would understand things a little more.

I agree that looking back on it I'm not sure I agree with everything (I don't remember everything about it either though) but I think its a good movie to get people on the right track.
Will media spin it? Eh, I don't know if they'll notice. Unless it starts making a big difference that is.
