AP and MSM report 50/59 for Romney in MI

The MI RP coordinator had this to say in an email this am:

"And for your tremendous effort and persistence, at least 22 Ron Paul supporters from Michigan will be attending Tampa this summer.

We won all the the top 5 of 6 slots in the first district. We won the top 3 slots in the second district. We won delegates in the fourth district, and the ninth. We won alternates in most districts. "

He sent a longer email but thats the basics. MI did vote out Saul Anuzis for re-election as national committeeman who has quite the anti Paul reputation. I guess he got what he deserved

I could be wrong here, but here's what I got out of this.

Minnesota. A big win. 33/40 (I think)

Michigan. 7 voting delegates out of maybe 28. Also some B delegates and some alternates.

Virginia. Yesterday - 2/6. Those 2 give us 17 total, which some say is enough for the overall win.

Georgia and Mississippi - don't know exactly, but not "wins" in the traditional sense.

In VA I think we are still waiting on the 5th district numbers, unless you know parocks?

In vermont ron paul win 2 delegates of 17

I'm a bit disappointed about that, since Ron did really well in Vermont - 25% of the vote. Which actually means that 4 of the delegates are bound to Ron.

In Virginia Ron paul won 3 delegates in cd 5 and 1 in cd10 and cd 11 -------5/9

finally 20/33

Really, 3/3 in 5? Good news. With those numbers, more likely than not we'll get the at larges (if there are at larges), and win Virginia. Is VA a bound or unbound state?

13 at-large delegates (10 base at-large delegates plus 3 bonus delegates) are to be bound to presidential contenders based on the primary results statewide.

primary results?

delegates or %?

because romney won 46-3 delegates but only 60-40 in % of popular vote

That means that Romney takes the 13 at large?

Not necessarily. I think VA's state convention is June 16th? They will be determined there. It just means the 13 who are selected at the convention are bound to Romney (could all be Paul supporters).

So we can't "win" Virginia in the same way that we won Maine and Minnesota?

I don't believe so, no. I think even the CD's are bound, so the results will still show Romney 46 Paul 3.

Assuming they don't get unbound at the state convention.
