Yeah I didn't pick one up...
I glanced at it at the merchandise booth without touching it, I really didn't want to be seen holding one because at the same time I was wearing a tag that said 'Event Staff'.... and well, you get the picture.

I have one of the truthers 911 bills. They were handing them out to the crowds buying stuff from the campaign booths. Most people thought they were funny and laughed.

I personally have nothing against truthers, provided that they stay away from Ron Paul events and activities (or if they do come, at least leave their truth agenda at home and not bring it with them to RP events) !!!!

Ron Paul is the best hope for peace, freedom and justice in our country. That's what the "truthers" want too, so the desired ends have some similarities.

However, Ron Paul's political campaign and the "truth" movement do NOT mix.

It is in the mutual interest of both the Ron Paul movement people and the "truth" movement people that these two agendas are NOT mixed together..... I guess they need to be reminded that it is not in the "truth movement's" best interest to come in and threaten the derailment of RP's campaign.....

I think the truth people can be educated on this issue.... I say be nice to them but assert what the deal is, and tell them that if they care about their issues, they will not derail the campaign of the most honest candidate who has the best chance of taming the military-industrial monster.

why the hell does this crap keep coming up?

I mean dont we have something new to talk about?

Go to any big political rally and there is always someone screaming 911 truth, whether it be the Hildabeast, Obama, or Ghouliani. If you have 911 truth people there that means your event has some sort of significance!!

Nice perspective...I hadn't thought of that. I am starting to think the whole 'truth' movement is neither helpful nor hurtful to the Ron Paul campaign.

Hmmm, I'm afraid a must respectfully disagree on the premise that the truthers don't act the same wherever they go.

For instance, you get one at a clinton/obama or Rudy McRomney rally, everybody knows they aren't welcome.
Rally security will harass them, rally go-ers will scorn, insult or berate them in any one of a number of ways and everyone feels they generally don't 'fit in'. Most of the time they are ejected and are relegated to a place across the street. Likewise, the truthers tend to go to those events not primarily to help the candidate but to get as much attention as possible from people who may - in a parallel universe - listen, and to try to be as loud as possible.

This isn't what they do at Ron Paul rallies though. We rarely if ever say anything to them; so they blend in, hang around the campaign booths and areas where active ralliers congregate, they really look like they are part of it (the campaign) - but damnit they just won't stop with that crap. It doesn't hurt rudy mcromney because at those rallies they are little more than outsider amusement, but I would contest they are detrimental to Dr. Paul because you just can't stop some people from thinking of them as 'internal' to Ron Paul's campaign.

Anyway, just my two cents.. i just think they're damn annoying.

I attended and enjoyed the whole event. I must be a junkie too because I was also there at 7:15

These small kind of Truthers must be brain dead, agent provocateurs or just stupid. They don't advance their cause at all in fact they get people turned off.

They seem to have no to concept how to help get a man elected who might help.

Fortunately they seem to consist of less than 0.30% as demonstrated on this board. Very low but enough to ruin it for 99.7% of the rest of us. And they are so rude and inconsiderate of others they don't care.

At the rally, there was a lady who had a 911 bumper sticker on her t-shirt going around with a petition to impeach Cheney. She was not a RP supporter. I asked her why not and she said that RP is soft on the 911 issue. I informed her that RP has stated that he would support a new investigation. Then she came back saying she doesn't like his position on abortion. I explained to her that RP believes that the Federal Govt should stay out of such matters and that the issue should be on a state level. She in the end said she would hang around and see what RP has to say. There was also another guy passing out stuff who was a Hillary supporter.

Considering that polls show that the majority of Americans do not believe in the official 911 story and want a new investigation, I think you can expect some activists at any candidate's rally. BTW, I saw Dr. Paul autographing those 911 dollar bills that were being passed around.

I have a feeling that the truthers handing out 9/11 Truth info at our rallies are not the ones who support Dr. Paul

It seems that they are just using our campaign to advance their agenda. If you see someone handing out 9/11 Truth material at a Ron Paul event, politely confront them and tell that that this is not the place for their conspiracy theories. I don't go to a tax protest and hand out "keep abortion legal" pamphlets. Why would it be okay for someone to hand out extremist literature supporting a position that the candidate does not hold?

If there are truthers in our campaign, then that's fine, but if you see someone handing out info and scaring off our potnetial voters, confront them and let them know that they are not welcome to pass out their propaganda at a private Ron Paul event. I will do this every time I see someone who is falsely trying to associate Dr. Paul with 9/11 Truth

I won't do this because it is their right to do so under the constitution, and also it would not fall in line with Dr. Paul's philosophy of individual liberty and individual expression. If it is a private event, or if they are being disruptive, that is another matter.

Well, I'm not as perfect as Dr. Paul, so I personally would have no problem asking them to chill, because their actions are infringing on my possibility of having Ron Paul as President.

1.) I did not say to silence them. I said to ask them politely
2.) There is no such thing as free speech at private events

The only supporters Giuliani has are

1.) Bought and paid for.
2.) Establishment shills.
3.) The very rich hoping to profit if he is elected.
4.) Braindead sheep who buy into the establishment shills.

5.) Snorting coke off a strippers stomach ( oh wait, thats his campaign manager)

sad groupthink stereotyping

This is so frickin sad how people who claim to support Ron Paul also insist on stereotyping and denigrating a segment of the American population which may number in the several tens of millions for their dedication to a worthy cause. I support a new independent investigation of September 11th. I KNOW that the events of September 11th were choreographed by treasonous elements within several governments and intelligence agencies. I am not a "truther" and the use of that term is as derogatory now as calling a muslim a "raghead". How many of you endorse calling Muslims or Arabs "Ragheads"?

NO?

Stop stereotyping and name calling or you are not a true supporter of the things which the good Dr. stands for. Get frickin' over it already and move on with the campaign. The obsessing and name-calling about these few dedicated activists is obscene. You who use the term "truthers" are no better than white people who use the term "nigger" in back room conversations safely beyond the ears of any African American folks.

Disgusting.

I must have missed that one. :D Do you happen to have a link? I'd love to pass it around. Doesn't anything stick to this guy? I mean, his cross-dressing pictures are all over the net. Not exactly the picture of conservatism in action there. Then, there's his father's mob ties, etc., etc., etc.

What is sad is that some people, who claim to support Ron Paul, can't manage to attend an event and just sit their butts down and listen, but instead attempt to use this event to further their OWN cause, regardless of what the frig it does to Dr. Paul's campaign.

Now THAT is what is disgusting!
