Sadly, I feel the same. When i first started coming here... there were many productive threads... and the overall feeling of unity and goodwill was large and healthy.
now... its anger and bitterness.
I am deeply deeply saddened by all of this... I'm sure Dr. Paul would be too if he was reading this stuff.

You know this cycle just keeps going on... no 9/11 truth, yes 9/11 truth. back and forth all day everyday. WE both know its pointless. Let's not continue it. I know its hard not to respond to ignorance. I have trouble myself... but let us move on... this subject hurts me in the heart to see such division... can you and I agree to not respond anymore to these statements since we have both done so extensively and see that is really does no good either way? For peace sake?

I hear you Torchbearer. I am going to try one more thing first to shut down the intentional flamers (which is all I am really trying to do). I don't want to argue about 9/11 anymore than you do. I see what is happening here and it is intentional. I tried to warn about it months back.

everytime someone responds on this subject regardless of what side they are on.. it just keeps the arguement going... if no one responds anymore... this thread goes to the basement. I think that is the best for us all.

This could have all been nipped in the bud if the orignal flaming posts were deleted. They know it flames the members here and persist anyways. I say delete the posts. If that doesn't work, send them a notice. If that doesn't work, then ban them. It would certainly help if the non-truther's would call out the flamers also.

If it is allowed to persist...I do have my own board where I can invite Ron Paul supporter truthers who don't like being called names here to go. It would be a mistake to let a handful of flamers win that battle though so............

Discussing the various conspiracies surrounding 9-11 is nothing more than being OFF TOPIC.... this is the Ron Paul discussion forums... while 9-11 may be a factor in any particular discussion, the current administrations (Bush) involvement in it weather passive or aggressive is a MOOT POINT as this is their last days in office, and as such is of no relevance to getting Ron elected.

You can just start at the beginning of this thread to see who started the flaming. They are aware of the consequences and the war it starts and did it anyways. It's not hard to spot them if you are paying attention

i agree i think any post having to do with 9/11 should be moved to an off topic subforum for these types of posts...it does seem like a lot of threads are starting off with good topics and then somehow they turn into a "shut up the truthers" debate

there are a few truthers in our meetup group....and they keep the 9/11 stuff OUT of our events...recently a new couple came to an event with a "inside job" banner and shirts...they were politely asked (by the other truthers) to put the stuff away...not because we as a group are trying to censor the actions of a few members but because we dont want to use any movement or subject to turn someone away from being a ron paul supporter

if someone who has never heard of Ron Paul runs into a group of RP supporters demonstrating, and they are yelling stuff about 9/11 or holding banners to the like, AND this person has his own beliefs that truthers are "nutjobs" then that person will not even give RP a chance, and one person is too much to lose when it comes to how many supporters we need

no matter what RP's stance is on the issue, let people investigate him for themselves, dont push ideas on people that have to do with RP's personal beliefs...they should only be told the basics about the issues....RON PAUL SELLS HIMSELF!!!!!!

Perhaps Josh could update his policies for the board, to help him in keeping things civil here. After a long history of these threads causing problems... and in fact, i think he has locked up a few of them already.. perhaps he can get to the point of removing people who continue... of course with a warning first.

I'm jumping back in hre on the side of LibertyEagle. We simply stated that we thought it was INAPPROPRIATE for a SELECT FEW (not all) 9/11 Truthers to use Ron Paul's campaign to advance their own personal political agendas.

You will see that I consistently stated that there are plenty respectful members of said movement who do not cause problems.

PatriotOne is trying to act like he is taking the moral high ground when in reality he is the one calling people 'idiots' and 'shills' in every post that he makes.

I stopped responding (As did LibertyEagle and many others) so that this would die and PatriotOne continues to keep this thread going.

Please let this die or delete it. This is ridiculous

Two groups of people have ruined a good thread.

Sometimes the best response is to not respond at all.

If you continually fail to follow the guidelines then you will be removed.
