Results back in for District 6.

I would like to know how the voter's registration date was validated.

I spent almost an hour at the registrar's office trying to get proof that I registered before the deadline. They DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING in the system that showed my application date. The only thing they recorded was the processing date, which was weeks later.

We could have had 50 people register before the deadline, had their forms processed in december, and no one is bothering to actually dig up the forms. Instead they may just look at the computer to see when it was entered into the system.

If so, we are being CHEATED. The provisional voters who know they applied before the deadline need to go in and ask what happened to their votes!

We did get the majority of the provincial votes which is a very good sign.
This will make a big difference in the rest of the districts where the race is closer.
A 9 vote shift in other area could yield more results... but i think the shift will be higher elsewhere too because other areas had more provincial votes.

Not making fun of you at all, but I believe it is provisional votes, not provincial votes. I only mention it because I know you are running for office and we know how little things get blown out of proportion.

If there is indeed something called provincial votes, I feel very silly correcting you.

Your registrar MUST keep your paper registration on file for a few months. They should have been able to find it filed away.

thanks alot Torchbearer

i have alot of respect for what you and the others in LA did!

So...can we come up with 14 or more Ron Paul voters from district 6 that have voter registraion cards or can validate being registered prior to the deadline?

That'd be great.

I'd love it if we could prove they are giving us the shaft.
