Reince Priebus discusses the nomination of Ron Paul. Also says he reads DailyPaul..lol

Preibus reads the daily paul ? Then prolly reads over here too .. I bet these people are members, that would explain some of the divisions among us.

Psssst !!

Larry Flynt of Hustler is offering a Million Dollars to whomever can identify which screen name is Reince Preibus. :p

Well, let's make sure the people living in the tossup states find out about the shenanigans.

VA NC MI FL NH OH and others.

I'd take MI and PA off that list. Romney has pulled their advertising, which means they've written them off. McCain did the same thing.

The whole Ben Swann unbound delegates thing probably did play a part in this. Even though they would just squash it and install their dictator nominee if it happened they probably were a little worried about such an uprising.

Quoting an RNC delegate whom I will keep unnamed because I do not have his permission:

"I was literally standing two feet away when the 6 petitions were handed to the secretary of the convention and Reince Priebus is bald face lying when he claims it never happened. These are people who have no shame and for whom truth means nothing. They are beneath contempt."

We are to unify with the GOP/RNC. We need more ring kissing ceremonies apparently. Maybe Rand can do another national tv appearance talking about how wonderful MR is for us, perhaps that will rally me. Clearly this anonymous delegate you are talking about, must be a Democrat, and not understant that the RNC/GOP are about small, limited government, and following the Constitution as well as their own party rules.

Rand probably sees that Romney is going to lose and Romney will drop out of the political scene after this election. I was as angry about Rand's endorsement as anyone else, at first. Now I think it was a purely political move considering Romney's weak status. Whether Rand can display the REAL traits I'm looking for after Romney loses is another issue but Im starting to understand the political maneuver. If Romney wins then all that's out the window of course.

If Romney loses, that still doesn't address the Ron Paul campaign's horrible management, and it doesn't excuse Rand's sorry endorsement of Mitt Romney that was apparently written by somebody with no political understanding of how to keep a "movement" together.

I know Doug Wead, Jack Hunter, and several other staffers seem to think 2016 will be a magic year for Rand, and that's why they wasted so much money on this campaign and kept it going apparently just for paychecks, but I think 2016 will be a year that Rand Paul loses to Hillary Clinton and gets destroyed by the mainstream media...that's assuming he were to win the GOP nomination, which I doubt that will happen.

Again, why even run if you aren't running to win? Waste time/money/resources, but "protect the family name" by not attacking Mitt Romney, or whatever the exact quote from Wead was?

I think this is a good week to find a new YouTube account...

One of our delegates is going to upload video of them filing the nomination papers over an hour before Roll Call to refute the statement that papers weren't filed in time. Apparently the secretary was unreasonably difficult to find, as was Sununu with the rules committee stuff, but they found her.

Thank you for invading yet another topic with it. Do you see what I meant about invading every topic?

It would be great for that person to go on record as an eyewitness. I wouldn't be surprised if Ben would want to interview him. Priebus is saying "in a timely manner" was the issue. Would be great to have a good idea when they were delivered. Why didnt someone get that transaction on video?

he has a point, coffeewithgames. Discussing a topic when it is the thread topic or is brought up is one thing, but continuously inserting your personal top peeve into threads about completely different subjects when those topics have been fully discussed, including by you, is getting old.

a delegate plans to put this video up today or in the next few days.

Dude does appear to be heavily drugged. I guess maybe a marijuana and alcohol combo? If not that, some kind of pain killers?

The campaign also put out a press release when it was filed. Obviously, it took some time after filing to put it out, but the release itself may well have been an hour before. I heard about it from our delegates a while before I saw the press release, in any event.

I just went on the campaign web site and it isn't on there, but I saw it, at the time.

Here's the DP posting of it, apparently it was a press release by the Nevada delegation which delivered the papers, not by the campaign: http://www.dailypaul.com/251592/ron-paul-nominated-at-rnc

and here's the freepers response, just so you get to see them photoshop Ron into an aluminum foil hat (actually the 'crap' response kind of tickles me, and the tin foil is just ridiculous. They must have been pleased when it was ignored. I'm sure it won't occur to them it could as easily happen to their candidates) h xxp://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2923976/posts

Our delegates apparently verified with CSPAN and it was over an hour and twenty minutes before roll call that they turned in the nomination paperwork.
