Rasmussen counter-story Iowa poll

No matter what. Even if it says we're polling 10 points ahead, we must always act like we are polling 10 points below.
Let's say this poll is accurate - donate, phone bank, phone bank, phone bank!

Your exactly correct, I'm glad the polls showing Ron in second to help with enthusiasm, but we also must work like we are in last place. Only the paranoid survive.

When Ron Paul has great poll #s Drudge only puts it as a small headline. Then, when Gingrich has good #s Drudge puts it up as a headline.

Wow, that is bullshit. No shock when Ron was fucking tied for 1st?

I don't believe this bullshit poll for a second. I don't usually like dismissing polls, but fuck Rasmussen. I don't trust the establishment hack, and fuck Matt Drudge.

I think everyone should remember the stunts Rasmussen pulled against Rand Paul.

This smells of like when the Rating agencies were giving subprime mortgages bundled into investment packages a AAA Rating.

Hahahahah so true, my 42nd post, the meaning of the universe, live, and everything

Rasmussen was a paid consultant for the Bush administration in 2004. You can do the math.

What's important is that due to our phone banking, we have our own internal polls. We don't need to depend upon anybody else to know where we are.

Rasmussen was FAR from perfect in 2010.

From Nate Silver's write-up:
The 105 polls released in Senate and gubernatorial races by Rasmussen Reports and its subsidiary, Pulse Opinion Research, missed the final margin between the candidates by 5.8 points, a considerably higher figure than that achieved by most other pollsters. Some 13 of its polls missed by 10 or more points, including one in the Hawaii Senate race that missed the final margin between the candidates by 40 points, the largest error ever recorded in a general election in FiveThirtyEight’s database, which includes all polls conducted since 1998.

What's to say they're not way off the mark here as well.

Lesson from this:
We need to double our efforts!

If the one poll is right and we are at 10% we need to double that.
If the other poll is right, doubling that wouldnt be a terrible thing either.

So lets get busy!

Yeaw I used to trust Rassmussen more but the last election they called it for Buck and Angle. Both of them lost.

Neither will posting the only bad poll on Ron in the headline. It is already posted. And I've just been told Rasmussen under polled Ron by 150% in Iowa last time around so I'm not exactly thinking they are more credible than the Des Moines Register Poll which has Ron tied for first and the new one that came out today which was similar.

sore*

secondly, I'm pretty sure the first thread (the one that came out this morning) included a link to the actual poll.

It's crap. Two other polls and Ron's internal polls completely contradict these numbers.

Rasmussen is trying to create the narrative FNC wants to play up.

You know i think and believe Rasmussen has a harted on Ron Paul  It was first Rasmussen that give Cain that huge lead in the first i do question there polling and who they are polling, i have seen other polls of Ron Paul been in second place and 3d place, i am sick of this Dishonesty by the media.

Underpolled by 150%. Why give them any credibility or even their own thread. It is obvious who their paymaster is. All these phony gambits in the name of "being realistic" hardly are.
