Rand's Facebook Under Assault

Most people here knew and expected him to endorse Romney. What I didn't expect was for him to give Romney approval on the Fed, foreign policy, and the internet/privacy. That's fucking batshit lunacy to do that.

Yes, but they do both have big families and dads that ran for President! :P

I thought it was nuts too at first, but it gives him the opportunity to be "surprised" when a President Romney actually doesn't do any of those things. Either that or Rand compromises his principles and ends up voting the wrong way. It remains to be seen.

Rand compromising his principles isn't even the worst of the potential downside. Having libertarianism tied to Romney is the worst thing that could ever happen to limited government advocates.

Nobody is ever going to claim that Romney is a libertarian simply because Rand Paul endorsed him. That's just ridiculous.

What Friday night's endorsement showed to all in the Liberty Movement is that Rand is in politics for Rand, not principles and certainly not for the Grassroots. It is all about positioning and all about Rand Paul... it is now so obvious.

The act confirmed what many believed here in the Forums and over at the Daily Paul. Rand will never be the leader of the Liberty Movement.

Paul, Inc. is fading quickly......Ron will always be our Hero, but new Leaders will be found and the Movement will continue to grow.

TC is right here. I like Feeding the Abscess spirit but he is overdramatic and sensationalist way too often.
