I can't say I've ever really been "pro-life" and I do believe that the easiest way around that question is to take the Ron route and say "leave it up to the states" but this is just asinine at this point.

These women really just want the ability to rip the unborn out of them for THEM making poor ass decisions in their lives. It's not that hard to get contraceptives, or God forbid, keep your legs closed or choose better company...

It comes down to a single word. Fear. I have a friend who went from pro choice when we were in our 20s even though she believed abortion at conception was murder, to pro-life when we were in or 40s to back to pro choice in our 50s. Her reason for going back to pro choice? Serena Williams almost died having her first child. So, in my friend's mind, women need an off ramp. It's not just imminent death from a pregnancy gone wrong but possible death later on. That doesn't make sense to me, but I'm not a woman. Remember some years ago when Angelina Jolie cut off her breasts to prevent the possibility of breast cancer? Yeah....that doesn't make sense to me either. I do think more needs to be done to prevent maternal mortality, especially among black women. (It's like at third world levels and it even affects wealthy black women like Serena Williams). Ultimately the only way to have zero risk of maternal mortality is to go the Walter Block "evictionism" route, so that women who are totally parnoid about death by childbirth can remove all of their eggs early on, freeze them and then grow the children they want later in artificial wombs.

I can't speak from experience for simple reasons (the most important being that I'm not a woman) and I don't believe this of every one of these women but...


I genuinely believe the majority of these female leftists have never experienced a hard day in their lives. They've never had to forage for food, carry water a mile down the road, worry about the failure of a crop, etc.

Most of them probably grew up within the middle class and then went onto college. And therein lies the biggest rub: they go off to college, probably go to party after party, get drunk or drugged and are then assaulted and in the worst instances, raped. This is extremely unfortunate, sad, and pathetic on the men's parts who partake but these women aren't wholly innocent and I think they benefit living in a society where they're almost always given the benefit of the doubt.

Couple the drunken parties where they're assaulted, etc. with their "empowering" commie professors (who also have never had a hard day in their lives) who preach about Marx, communism, abortion, etc. and voila! You have generations of these radically left women who start making potions and threatening to kill men because they can't have their abortions.

It's all a bit nuts and I'm really trying to wrap my head around why abortion is such a big deal with Democrats.

BREAKING: Man arrested at Capitol with Molotov cocktails wanted to kill Treasury Sec Scott Bessent: police


A Massachusetts man who was arrested at the US Capitol on Monday with Molotov cocktails and knives told authorities that he was there to kill Scott Bessent, who was confirmed as Secretary of the Treasury the same day, court documents filed on Tuesday revealed.

According to the affidavit, Ryan Michael "Reily" English approached a Capitol Police Officer on Monday at around 3:12 pm near the South Door of the US Capitol Building and said "I’d like to turn myself in." English also revealed to the officer that he was in possession of multiple knives and two Molotov cocktails.

English was detained and a search uncovered a folding knife in English’s pants pocket, as well as two "destructive devices" in the inside pockets of his jacket that were constructed of 50 ml bottles of vodka with cloth attached to the top. A lighter was also recovered.

English told authorities that the bottles contained vodka and the cloth had been soaked in hand sanitizer. He said that he was there to "kill Scott Bessent," and that he had additional Molotov cocktails in his vehicle, which was located in the 900 block of Independence Ave SW. A search uncovered a 750 ml bottle of 100 proof vodka and a grey sweatshirt from which cloth had been cut.
