And there actually is a lot of scientific evidence for a global flood and a 6,000-10,000 year old earth.
What scientific evidence is the for a 6,000-10,000 year old earth?

Once you go atheist you never go back.
I'd like to see this "scientific" evidence.
Also, Rand is not an evangelical. He is a Presbyterian, which is a kind of mainline Protestant.
In an emailed statement to The Brody File, Gov. Perry says the following:
“While some seem intent upon driving people of faith out of debates on public policy, I believe a person’s faith gives them a more tangible view of right and wrong, and roots them in sound moral values that are essential to a healthy community. Today, more than ever, we need people of faith to make their voices heard, and provide the principled leadership to guide our nation through the tough decisions we face every day.”
Am I the only person who hates the phrase 'Judeo-Christian'?
Nope, I hate it as well. How many Jews were among the Founding Fathers? How many Jews lived in the 13 colonies? Would they even be welcome?
Huh? You don't go to hell. Those are sins, but if you repent, you will be forgiven.
The libertarian philosophy is "the government won't punish you as long as you don't hurt other people", and that doesn't say that God won't punish you. Not all Christians even believe that God will punish for actions such as sex before marriage. There is no hypocrisy here at all. It's funny how the libertarian philosophy is "Do whatever you want as long as it doesn't hurt other people" yet with religion like Christianity, you go to hell* for all these different things that don't hurt other people or even yourself. Isn't that hypocritical to believe doing heroin shouldn't get you any punishment but sex before marriage means you should burn in hell for all eternity?
I doubt Rand is christian now if he was so into atheism back then.
What's the basis for saying Rand was ever an atheist, much less "so into atheism"?

He was in a college fraternity, and allegedly played an 'Aqua Buddha' prank on some woman.![]()

Oh please. So there's some fossils that are found in many locations, and that means that the Earth is 6000 years old? I wonder what happened when they used carbon dating on these fossils

Using radiocarbon, geochemist Jerry Stripp of the University of Miami dated the flood at about 11,600 years ago."

Yep, they sure don't. Dating a Fossil (surprisingly an easier and healthier activity than dating a neocon)They don't Carbon date fossils.
