I praised Avard, not Cruz. But since you mention Cruz, it seems like he's the only consistent, full-spectrum conservative left. Not an ideal libertarian, but definitely vote-worthy.

No, Cruz is just another slimy double-talking politician, and not vote-worthy. I might have supported him as a second choice a year ago when I knew less, but the more I see of him the less I like. Cruz degrades the Liberty brand.

Ted Cruz has supported a variety of spending cuts. Cruz wants to eliminate the Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy and Housing and Urban Development.

That's not what I'm here for. I'm here to unite with my liberty-loving brothers and sister. I'll make sure to diversify my posting so it's not all Cruz-centric. I'm just really excited that this election cycle we had two good conservative candidates (Rand and Ted). Unfortunately it didn't work out for Rand, but not all is lost! Even though Rand was definitely my first choice, I won't give up on liberty.

He voted for the Rand Paul budget, which would reduce military spending. He also supports Audit the Pentagon, a bill aimed at identifying and eliminating waste in military spending. As well as this, Cruz would enact drastic domestic spending cuts, eliminating several federal departments to pay for any increase in specific types of military spending.

Corporations are legally prohibited from donating to political candidates.

It was never going to pass, but it is very unfortunate the Cruz missed the vote. I still think he's in favor of an audit,though.

I think Ted misspoke here, because he claified on CNN and said he would only want targeted bombing that wouldn't hit civilians.

Rand and Ted are virtually identical in their voting record in the Senate. They're both conservatives and want to limit government spending, they've both stood up against intervention, they both have stood up against endless surveillance. They're very similar.
