The poll's sampling error means that statistically it's not a win for Paul, but his finish is a breakthrough for his family.

I'm always amazed that so many journalists who write about polling data apparently never felt the need to learn the first thing about statistics. I wonder if this yahoo even knows what "sampling error" means.

There is absolutely nothing about Perry's presidential run in 2012 that suggests he can be a contender in 2016. It's classic media pundit B.S. I'm not even going to post his IA/NH numbers, they're too ugly to look at, and he dropped out right before South Carolina because he was going to get clobbered there as well.

Of the past two presidential election cycles, it's hard to determine if Fred Thompson in 2008 or Rick Perry in 2012 made a bigger joke of themselves, at least among the GOP candidates that the media declared to be 'serious' contenders.

Or was the support of those countries listed as a reasoning behind significant attacks? (that thrust this country into debt of unimaginable proportion)

Rite of passage, or whatever tf, it's a shame the level of seniority Israel holds in American politics.

Such to the case that speaking against it, one is slandered an anti-semite and that our politicians overwhelmingly will never vote against Israel. It's sickening.

The establishment has needed a calculatedly 'blundering' heavyweight to run resistance for the anointed candidate. Thompson deliberately ran a half-hearted campaign in 2008 to split the social conservative vote, on behalf of his moderate friend McCain. After SC, the key early contest, he ended his campaign, as if on cue, because he had completed his job (McCain had squeaked out the win, thus cementing his position as prospective nominee). Perry similarly ran an intentionally lame campaign in 2012 to help secure things for Romney, only he oversold his incompetence. Expectations are now so low for Perry, that he's certain to exceed them in 2016.
