’m going to read you about a dozen Republican candidates for President.
Please tell me which of the following would be your first choice if the Republican
Primary were held today (ROTATE): Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike
Huckabee, Jon Huntsman, John Kasich, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Marco
Rubio, Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, Scott Walker

Only sample of 400, so I take it with a grain of salt.

Chris Christie 11%
Paul Ryan 11%
Jeb Bush 10.75%
Rand Paul 10.5%

FYI: Mitt Romney was not included in the poll.

Thinking back to your first choice, if I added Mitt Romney to that list, would
you still vote for ________, or vote for Romney…… or someone else?

With Romney,

Mitt Romney 48.62%
Chris Christie 7.69%
Paul Ryan 5.54%
Jeb Bush 5.23%
Ted Cruz 3.69%
Jon Huntsman/Scott Walker/Rand Paul/Bobby Jindal 3.38%

Winning Massachusetts without Romney is doable, but winning it with Romney in the race will be a significant uphill battle. Not that Massachusetts is a swing state or will play a significant role, but Rand is going to need as many delegates as possible, and in Massachusetts the delegates go to the outright winner of the primary.

"Rand Paul Doesn't Poll Well in Massachusetts" could be a bumper sticker slogan for the 2016 GOP primaries!

Don't think this will matter one bit.

Yeah, finished in fourth, but with only 0.5% separating him from first. That means Christie and Ryan each got 2 votes more than Paul, and Bush got 1 more vote, out of the 400 total votes. It's a dead heat.

Right to be fair, they are all in the margin of error...

Yeah I know it's not a big deal, but figured this was the place to post it.

Thanks for the update.
. . . But what happened to the Florida Senator ?

So in the first ballot so to speak Rand gets 41 votes finishes in "fourth" - Christie wins with 43 votes -
but absolutely nobuddy votes for the GOP Savior Rubio ??. . .

Awe shucks, I thought this GOP 2016 nomination process was gonna be fun -
oh well, Christie is a big enuf target.

out of the 400 or so left in the room to vote on the second ballot when Mitt Willard Romney is included
(some may have dozed off, or had to change their depends . . .) Flipper gets just under 200 votes.

And Romney might have alot of support at UCSB and could win California (?) -
well, except for like what he said at the 2012 general election debates.

Once again, more BS.. What is this, attack Rand by using bogus BS polls to sway public opinion into looking at someone else. Or just simply doing what they did to his dad hoping to convince the average Joe Plumber that Rand is not electable and therefore can't win in the general election so ya'll need to vote for someone else? I mean seriously the timing is very suspect considering Rand's recent work doing free eye care as well as all the recent polls showing that Rand is by far the best suited to beat Hillary Clinton in the general election? So if they can't knock him that way, they're simply going to try and convince people that well he might just win in the general election, but he can't win the republican primary.. Wow, I guess ignorance really is bliss. And not only that, but they'll use whatever script storyline they choose in order to force their view of America onto republican voters out of fear of just what a Rand Paul presidency will do to the American electorate. Sickening to put it nicely....
