In the aftermath of Ron Paul’s despicable tweet today slamming US Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, murdered on Saturday while helping a fellow soldier learn to cope with post traumatic stress syndrome, Paul’s son, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has told Breitbart News exclusively, “Chris Kyle was a hero like all Americans who don the uniform to defend our country. Our prayers are with his family during this tragic time.”

I would find that disgusting. The answer isn't in the left right divide but in having people look beyond factions to the issues and solutions that work for this country.

Ron has ALWAYS done that.

I don't fit on either 'side,' I want answers, not circuses.

It is just a statement. His statement never mentioned Ron.

I can't say I necessarily disagree with Ron's comment. TOTALLY inappropriate though. He wasn't making some grand philosophical statement. It makes him sound like an asshole.

There's no doubt about this.

My problem with what Rand said is that I hope he doesn't actually believe it. Were I in his shoes I would have tried to say something respectful that I could really mean.
