Rand Paul on The Laura Ingraham Show 4/28

Murray Rothbard's take on the LA Riots sounds somewhat different from many ancaps now.

“Devotion to the sanctity of person and property is not part of their value-system. That’s why, in the short term, all we can do is shoot the looters and incarcerate the rioters"

" Sending in police and troops late and depriving them of bullets, cannot do the job. There is only one way to fulfill the vital police function, the only way that works: the public announcement—backed by willingness to enforce it—made by the late Mayor Richard Daley in the Chicago riots of the 1960s—ordering the police to shoot to kill any looters, rioters, arsonists, or muggers they might find."

Yep, this is what we call an inconvenient truth that today's anarchist would turn and call Rothbard a fascist, or worse yet, a "statist" for saying. Come to think of it, some of them have done so whenever I throw these quotes at them. Today's anarchist is more in line with Noam Chomsky than Murray Rothbard anyway.

Oh so no he didn't talked about the Baltimore PROTESTS before it turned violent?

Not to my knowledge, but I see no reason that he should have.

This kind of stuff happens all the time: allegation of police misconduct --> protesting.

If Rand got in involved in every case, he'd have no time for anything else.

I didn't think so either. But nice try at spin though, did you learn to spin yourself or did FOX news teach you?

How tiresome...
