Politico is saying that there's some kind of time limit on Rand's speech.

“If Sen. Paul delays the vote scheduled for one hour after we convene tomorrow, it’s a filibuster. If not, it’s not,” Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid spokesman Adam Jentleson tweeted.

So as long as he goes for 12 hours it is a filibuster.
Im hoping for 25 hours

I've been channel surfing the cable news channels and I have not seen a single mention of it.

The article was updated to say that his time to speak runs out at around midnight. So that would be about an 11 hour speech if he makes it that long.

Wait, so it's not a filibuster? I'm confused. I thought jumping in during the Trade Talks was the only opening he was going to get to filibuster because he would never get the floor otherwise. Ron Wyden said he would also filibuster. Any chance they can go back and forth?

So the Senate is meeting to vote on something at midnight?
