Puerto Rico Results Thread

Seems to me he could have gotten the entirety of 11% and still lose, but math isn't my strongest point....
Yes, of course. If Romney received 100% of 11%, and then received no more votes, he would end up with only 11%. But I think all factors considered, such a scenario would be very unlikely.

It is much more likely that the rest of the island is demographically similar enough to the parts that have reported.

Not that I expected us to get any, but how do they know Romney gets all the delegates with only 10% reporting?

Not they, that was me. 10% is a fairly representative sample. I can't see Romney falling below 50% so it's going to be WTA.

Sadly, at this point in the Puerto Rico reporting, I find myself hoping for Ron to advance from 6th place to at least 4th place. Such a low-ball hope is fortunately rare in this election season; however, at the same time, it brings back some memories from the more dire moments in 2008.

if an alien intelligence was watching this they must be thinking of committing our leaders and banksters

I thought people here were saying we could win Puerto Rico. Sixth place??? When there are only 4 major candidates running? THAT IS FRAUD!!!! RON HAS WON THIS.

You still have not explained why on earth you thought Ron would win Puerto Rico, and how his poor (and expectedly so) showing there is evidence of fraud, or even what kind of fraud you are accusing people of.

Does that seem completely implausible to anyone else? Corrupt officials just trolling now?

Oh come on! When you can't even accept a 1% showing as a legitimate loss, it really just takes away your credibility. Yes...he could easily do that poorly considering he didn't spend one second campaigning, even via telephone, etc.

I hate to burst people's bubbles...especially Ron Pauls...but grassroots efforts alone will never help him win a state or even come close. I know he is short on money, and it is fine to ignore some states/territories. But if he does, he shouldn't expect a good showing.

In order to vote in the GOP presidential primary in Puerto Rico, voters must sign a "Republican Party of Puerto Rico Affiliation Form" pledging commitment to the ideological principles of the Party. -- CNN

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!! "Ideological principles"!! This is the best joke of the day.

Now Romney's percentage went from 91% to 89% with the same number of votes. Is this a glitch on CNN's end or is the PR GOP trying to rig the election?

Are you serious? Really? Is this even a question?

No, you must be joking. That has to be it...

Let's not lose site of what we are doing please...delegates delegates delegates ... Absolutely no reason to be upset with the results of puerto Rico... We see all the corruption going on here at county conventions, I would think its much easier to commit fraud in puerto Rico.. Now I'm not saying there was fraud at all... I just dont care anymore about the popular vote.. It's not like the msm would report on a Ron Paul victory to help give Ron momentum . Just keep fighting your hearts out no matter how difficult it seems!! We will win win this fight if we all keep fighting!!!!!! I know we will!! Puerto Rico should be a major reason to donate to the campaign !!! When the going gets tough the tough get going right??
