Puerto Rico Results Thread

Hey. If the USA somehow causes WW3... will Puerto Ricans and Samoans be drafted??? I will be annoyed, since they voted in a war monger but they don't have to risk going to war. Unfortunately, I am of age to be drafted =|. I don't want to go to war for some war mongers and bankers.

If the US somehow causes WW3 we'll have have much greater problems than whether or not Puerto Ricans and Samoans can be drafted or not. Actually, since WW3 is pretty much impossible now without it going nuclear (which is why it is extremely unlikely to occur at all) we wouldn't really have any problems at all, since, more likely than not, we'd all be dead.

Now that's a comforting thought, isn't it?

On a more serious note, this is a humiliating, if not particularly important, loss for Dr. Paul. It is only the territories after all; not many care how Puerto Ricans vote.

Hopefully Roemer finishing ahead of Gingrich will shame him into quitting. ;)

As I said before:
Honestly, it looks like people in Puerto Rico have only heard of Romney and Santorum, and the rest of the people are just voting randomly between the remaining candidates (Gingrich, Paul, Roemer, and Karger all have 1-2% - seems kinda just like a random spattering of noise down there.)
I am pretty sure these are all random "shooting fish in a barrel" votes, spread pretty evenly across the unknown candidates (sadly including Paul). And let me add, I surmise Roemer has the slight edge because he happens to be listed first on the ballot and the name "Roemer" is similar enough to "Romney" - hence confusing a few people, helping tip the randomness his way.

Here in Spain, there is also internet and news .. but as they do copy-paste of the American media, most people think that there are only 2 candidates

Completely embarrassing for Gingrich and Paul, to finish below Roemer. There's the highlight of Roemer's entire worthless campaign: 2% of the vote in Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico got sent the rest of the un-used super brochures.

:D

Also it seems that Fred Karger was campaigning in Puerto Rico from Tuesday up to the Sunday elections, so he spent more time in there than the rest of the candidates combined, also he apparently had some TV adds in the air, don't know how much he spent on that though. So that should explain him performing better than in previous primaries.
