Update/Recap from Initial Thread Post
Here's what I suggest we do at this point, in order of priority:
1. Stop letting this issue divide us. That's what the enemy wants. This is a grassroots effort up to us and the people of NH. No threats to the RP campaign.
2. Chipin to fund ~$65K recount now -
http://www.grannywarriors.com
Counter totalizer problem needs to be reset ASAP.
3. Work with Obama supporters to fund their half (and see who can get there first)
4. Continue sending email to NH DOJ and SOS to hold off certification of election. Add alleged fraud videos if necessary, and collect more news screen shots, etc.
5. Identify pro bono attorneys from RP Revolution that will assist in the effort.
6. Focus on handcounting ballots in machine municipalities first, then the others.
(7) Once funded, RP or Obama needs to request NH recount, by law. I actually think this act would do nothing but add campaign credo to whoever is bold enough to step forward, if it's done in the right way (that is making sure that state/federal elections for public office in U.S. are fair and transparent, not in a selfish, sour grapes sense. This is really the essence of the campaign, afterall, because all is lost without fair elections). Hunter and Kucinich could also boost their candidacy in this manner...
Where we are at now, in relation to initial thread post, and open actions IMHO:
1. Check.
2. Still needing grassroots Patriot donations
http://www.grannywarriors.com to fund Republican recount efforts.
3. Dennis Kucinich (and Obama supporters?) covering Democrat recount.
4. Continuing evidence collection and NH SOS & DOJ correspondence until election legally certified.
5. Still need to identify RP Revolution pro bono legal team (if not already assembled).
6. Rely on expert input from Bev Harris, et. al.
http://www.blackboxvoting.com to help guide recount strategy for maximum effectiveness.
7. Mr. Howard flying to officially file with NH SOS friday requesting Republican recount. Mr. Kucinich already filed for Democrat recount. Blow it out in the digital presses... there is still great hope in America for Freedom, Prosperity and Peace!
Additionally, and most importantly in preparation for filing and after:
8. NH meetups and all other concerned NH voters needed to support accurate recount/investigation/certification. Coordinate thru NH SOS.
+ whatever else that's missing.
May the best man (or woman) win. Most importantly, America wins when its citizen's votes and elections are held accountable.
For all upcoming elections, these actions and websites remain very important for Liberty, IMHO:
1.
http://www.watchthevote2008.org for RP pollwatchers with tally sheets (exit polls) and Voter Verification Affadavits for each voter (doesn't matter who they voted for, give them out to everyone). Real-time reporting back from polls.
2.
http://www.blackboxvoting.org
https://secure.eff.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=109
+ other sites/actions I have left out for voting and e-voting reform.
3. Ongoing NCEL and other lawsuits DEMANDING verifiable paper balloting.
+ whatever else that's missing.
As President Paul reminds us, freedom only comes with personal responsibility. Nobody else is going to make it happen for us. It's never easy. Tyranny is not an option. Evil can be overcome with good...long live the U.S. Constitution!
This is truly an amazing grassroots movement so far...and it's only just begun.
We must never give up the good fight.
Faithfully yours,
Publius Freeman
Ron Paul, and the American people, will win in 2008.
(And if Straw Polls are ANY indication, we already won NH with 65% of the vote)...
