No. I don't get any logical reason we subvert our own interests to foreign ones, though, unless you don't believe in sovereignty, and I do.
That's a non sequitur.

So, politicians should repudiate their foreign friends? Romney and Netanyahu worked together and became friends decades before any of them entered politics.
So yes, he should repudiate his foreign friend, in this case. His foreign friend is detrimental to this country.
But how's that related to someone having foreign friends? Are you suggesting people with foreign friends are more prone to believe in global citizenship?
I completely disagree.
What kind of man would repudiate a long-life friend because he's a foreigner and a fellow politician? Certainly not the kind I'd respect or even dream of voting for.
I don't think DeMintConservative means any harm or has a passionate attachment for Israel, I just think he needs to read up more on a foreign policy of freedom to better understand the depth of corruption that pro-Israel groups cause.
I think it is the blanket statements about 'pro Israel' groups that makes people uncomfortable. I don't blame special interests for existing, I blame people in our government for selling their votes.
Truth makes many people uncomfortable.
And ultimately, I blame "the people" for voting for the gov't reps who sell their votes.
And without a track record you only have your word, which is why I'm really thinking more about the term limits on representatives. And as far as senators go, undo the election of senators and turn it back to the state legislators.
I think most people believe that if something is important they will hear it on the news. I know I did, at one time, until some things came up that I was flabbergasted I HADN'T heard about on the news, when they were important, and had been building for a long time. Then I started getting my own news. But democracy in a biased news world isn't really a reflection of the actual views of the people.Truth makes many people uncomfortable.

My tactic is to vote anyone out who is an incumbent that hasn't proved their mettle. Everyone from dogcatcher to congressman.
Its called reading between the lines, if you don't get it then you don't get it.
Politicians and Diapers should be changed often and for the same reason, eh?My tactic is to vote anyone out who is an incumbent that hasn't proved their mettle. Everyone from dogcatcher to congressman.
