prediction thread for Michigan

Last, or next to last.

Face the facts folks:

Peace and Freedom is not popular.

Welfare and Warfare is.

That's the bottom line, it has nothing at all to do with what campaign strategy was used, what media black outs occurred or what supporters did or did not do.

I couldn't disagree more. Much of RP's platform is basic conservatism and has won many times before. It was just communicated by Paul so poorly and mixed with the rhetoric of the left that few in the GOP even bothered to listen.

And the winner is . . .

Well, none of the people who gave percentage predictions got it exactly correct, but some were pretty close.

People tended to underestimate Romney' support and overestimate Dr Paul's support.

I calculated the sum of the differences for the 6 leading candidates to find the leading soothsayers, and can announce the following award winners:

In third place . . .
tfelice
1. Romney 28%
2. McCain 27%
3. Huckabee 18%
4. Thompson 7%
5. Paul 6%
6. Giuliani 6%

(Special award for getting the good doctor's score correct)

In second place . . .
FreedomLover
Romney 32%
McCain 29%
Huckabee 15%
Paul 10%
Giuliani 9%
Thompson 5%

and the winner is . . .
