Why dont you guys get it? While first place is nice its not going to happen just yet. The goal right now is to stay in these elections and prove all the naysayers saying that Ron Paul support is nothing more than a few hundred people that know how to spam online polls and stuff ballot boxes at straw polls. The attitude of american people is they need to see numbers. We have to stay in the race to show that our numbers are not just a mere few thousand or few hundred people in certain states.
Even if ron paul comes in third. And the difference between first and third is just a few thousand votes, it shows he is electable. After Iowa i have had people go out of their way to comment on how they where suprised to see how many votes he got, and that if he gets here (california) he could lock up their vote.
so our goal is to defeat the perception that there isnt any support and that Ron Paul supporters arent a few hundred radicals with mutiple identity complexes x1000. So our base needs to stay strong and last it out. I think South Carolina and maybe florida will be a let down of being in the top 3. But if we get double digits its no reason to stop.
I wont stop using the comparison of when our forefathers not just the big names but the freedom fighters, had little to no ammunition, no food and froze their asses off, they didnt throw down their muskets and go back to being king george's servant. All you have to do is hold onto your faith in and keep spreading the message, donate if and when you can to keep this fight going.
