PPP Minnesota:

Have you ever thought that maybe it's more than just winning the nomination?

Think through what you are saying. I know this is a cause but winning only helps it. I really don't care if we get the nomination personally but that is what we should aim for anyways.

You think its about influence, we winning is influential
You think its about nomination well winning gets you nominated
You think its about spreading the message of liberty, winning helps it and puts a spotlight on it. You become the President and you have a platform to spread the message.

Anyway you cut it winning helps accomplish all those goals and this should be our goal as the closer you are to winning the closer you are to everything else.

And on a side note my comment was intended towards the many that hope to win the nomination based on delegates and I thought they should be reminded of one key fact, must win 5 states.

Around the time the poll was being taken RP was holding events... just keep that in mind

Maybe i missed it but how in the world is Santorum so high when Minnesota is a very liberal/independent state.

This polling was done yesterday while Ron was having rallies. A large percentage of his CAUCUSING supporters were not home to take calls:

Don't know how much impact that would have, but given the small percent that actually caucus at all, I can't imagine there was no impact AT ALL.

We can win this!!! Hopefully we can atleast do better then Mitt and then we can show the rest of the Country that we are the real anti mitt!!

a bunch just went to him as the 'next most viable' after the Florida results, when Gingrich started to implode. Unfortunately, a bunch of voters are like sand in the waves of media opinion, and don't look independently for info -- at least until right before the vote. They might now.

I'm sure that is one reason why Ron has attorneys in Clark county at the vote there. Even if he is a close third, he wants the closeness in the public consciousness, and if he is second he ABSOLUTELY wants that out there. And Santa should drop after Nevada, just as Ron did after SC/Florida.

No impact at all. If PPP calls and someone does not pick up, they simply keep calling down the list until they hit their target number of surveys. I know some polling companies are calling cells phones but not sure if PPP is or not. Regardless, if your sample size is large enough, that is ALL that matters - of course your demographics have to be set up correctly has well - political party (for open primaries), age, male to female, etc. Meaning you can't have 50% of the callers being 18-29 or even 18-44. That would cause such poll to be out of whack with reality. Most legit polling companies get their demographics just about right all based on previous election turn out and questions asked during the survey that determines a "likely" voter.

they hit their target 'number of surveys' with those who are home. If Ron Paul supporters are disproportionately not home because thousands of them were at rallies for him with no other candidates in the state to distract their supporters, the 'number of surveys' will be filled by those who are home. I don't think it is 10 percentage points difference, but I would not be at all surprised if it were 4 or 5 points difference.

Well I blame electability perception for us to not become the antiromney. My fears have come true the antiromney vote will go back and forth but little to Paul, until he is perceived as electable. It is antiObama first which is where we lose in perception.

Santorum won't do that well,
He's not that popular around here.

Ron Paul is popular with anti-war folks
independents and libertarian leaning people
there are many of them in minnesota

I'm planning to make some flyers that emphasize Ron Paul as the war ending candidate

I'd like to use videos like this to reach people

(the links would be printed on pre cut tabs on another sheet)

Also, to describe him as the only one opposed to The Patriot Act, NDAA, SOPA, Bailouts, and The Federal Reserve in general...

Could use some suggestions for short films to add

Or inspirational quotes!

All help is appreciated! This is for Minnesota the three days before caucus... will print up this evening

Maybe several hundred with enough content ideas!

Please add that he was the only one who came out against NDAA!!

We need to win a state soon. This looks like one that might be possible.... if you have any friends in MN, now is the time to call. And make sure every single supporter gets up and out to vote!

And point out how EVERY VOTE counted in Nevada, that Ron had votes that didn't turn out that were pledged, and that he was polling per media in FOURTH place going into the caucuses. We need people to turn out!!

Precisely what I am in the process of doing. Working on apathetic friends that are Ron Paul supporters. Might have convinced my dad to attend the caucus and vote for Paul even though he is a pretty bad liberal. One more vote is one more vote.
