I laugh at how many always claim how wrong polls are then shocked how Paul didn't do better. SC is a tough state for Paul.

well my prediction is that either Gingrich or Ron Paul get 1st and that Santorum gets last.

Probably 4th, maybe 3rd if we're lucky. It'll be close between us and frothy, with newt and mitt way ahead. OP's numbers are from the twilight zone. It's nuts (and a recipe for disappointment) to think even high teens, much less high twenties, are possible.

The weather is poor today in SC, which I think favors Ron Paul. I suspect something like Gincrich 34%, Romney 29%, Paul 24%, Santorum 13%.

Ultimately I think the ideal situation is we come in a strong 3rd, and Santorum drops out. Even though he claims he's in it till Florida, we'll see.

Yea, most polls show Ron and Rick way too close, some even tied at 15'ish. Tough to really say where Ron will finish here Rick seemed to be on downhill slide recently, so i picked him to finish last, but there has been so many damn polls coming out every day, so it's tough to say.

Unfortunately, this is my prediction too. It's going to be a close race for third between Santorum and Paul.

I agree with the post above me. Paul will be third. Gingrich and Paul have uptrended, while Romnus and santy have declined.

There is no way to predict this state because of it's legendary vote fraud system. Voting is totally electronic, which then gets transmitted to a secret location, no receipts, paper trail, or verification system of any kind. At least in Iowa and NH through the tireless efforts of Watch The Vote 2012, the fraud is being exposed and is now beginning to be reported. Don't know if Watch the Vote or Black Box Voting have any plans for SC, but I hope there is something they can do. Otherwise the vote totals are going to be what the computer programmer and the SC GOP set it up to be.

I agree. It is all decided by the computers and not by the voters. As one supporter who was in the last debate observed a bus load of "Tea party patriots" came to SC for debates and "trained". Its all screwed up and I have little trust with all these voting process.

But I'm still hopeful and expecting a miracle where Dr.Paul comes in strong third in a 20% range.
