Just 34% of GOP voters say they are certain of their vote. But it’s striking to note that 62% of those who support Trump have made up their minds, nearly twice as many as those who say that of their vote for any other candidate.

The national telephone survey of 624 Likely Republican Primary Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports on December 16-17, 2015. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Fieldwork for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.

This one is PPP.
The Rasmussen's Rand #and other breakdown only available for premium subscribers I think.

Pleaseeee. I know everyone around here mocks the idea of not believing the polls, but seriously? How are these results even possible? They simply don't pass the smell test.

The PPP asks favorability questions (same order) before preference.

I can't believe that Rand didn't get a bump from the debate, even if only a point or two.

...not buying this poll.

Rand is at 5% when voters are asked who their second choice is. So it seems like Rand's debate performance might've at least caused more voters to have him as their second choice.

Liberty is not popular

Rand entered the race in the wrong decade

When America is under any perceived threat, Americans will always chose security over liberty

These polls are just damn depressing. Fiorina at 4? How the fuck.

People must really want to drop bombs all over the damn place.

People don't give a fuck about being spied on?

Huckabee at 4 when he wants to send your kids over to fight dumbass wars? He sounded just as nutty as Graham in that debate.

Dammit

Agreed, but still there ought to have been a bump from the debate.

...not because I liked what Rand said (I always do), but because the masses appeared to like it (online polls, social media trending, MSM reaction).

Yep

It's all true.

Your fellow Americans suck. We're in the wrong country

Is Rand in the wrong party? I don't identify as a Republican anymore, just as an Independent, but Rand is who I align with best. Republicans voters and their support for Trump is just baffling.

They liked it, but they like Trump more.

I will fight tooth and nail for rand but it's obvious to me (a realist) that Trump is going to get the nom. Unless he does something MAJOR to screw up. I mean he's been caught lying, made racist comments, etc and the people still love him. He would have to be found guilty of child molestation or something to sink in the polls

I don't know. Cruz could win the nomination too. Trump is polling at least 10% lower in the early states than he is nationally. Even in New Hampshire where he's leading he's polling at 26-27%, compared to polling in the mid 30's nationally.

Libertarian party, but that's a waste of time. Better to get the message out as a republican and not win the election, than to not get the message out and not win as a libertarian

So Americans prefer the following.

-Closing the Internet.
-WAR With Russia.
-Iran must be destroyed.

Either that or the poll seems to have being bought by Trump.

Yep we already learned that with Ron. The major problem I've see is rand Is Not asking for votes enough. Doesn't he have anyone with sales experience? You must always ask for the sale or vote. Not doing so is futile. Ask and you shall receive. He should be asking viewers for the vote directly, every single appearance. .!!Somebody anybody in the campaign advisors! Do this Now!!!!Or recruit me if you must!
