Did anyone notice that DOCTOR Ron Paul did not get to answer on either question about health care? Rediculous!

I ....I believe Hunter and especially Tancredo were the best on the immigration debate. Tancredo's opening remarks on immigration showed real passion on the issue.
well now you can start two more forums and be the moderator of them both: one for Hunter and the other for Tancredo... I'm sure the supporters of those candidates would appreciate your positive impression of their Presidential hopefuls.
I myself however, as do most others on this forum, know that the only hope for America is someone who is not bought and paid for by the establishment, and that someone is the person who has the guts to publicly state that he will abolish the IRS and the Federal Reserve and immediately bring the troops home...go Ron go

Dr. Paul could get the soccer mom crowd just by talking about how many babies he's delivered and how it influenced him on abortion.
FWIW, I am a mother of two young boys and these are two issues that initially turned me off to Ron Paul. Thankfully, I looked further and learned about him entirely. I am a pretty hardcore advocate for homebirth or at least for women to deliver their own babies in whatever setting. We certainly don't need men (of all people) to do it for us. Instinctively, we will reach down and catch our own babies if an HCP isn't intervening and doing it for us. I cringe every time I hear/read that a dr "delivered" someone's baby, totally taking the power away from the mother. I believe in NON INTERVENTION when it comes to childbirth. Non-intervention is not just good for foreign policy, it is good for most things. Reading more about Paul, I found that he does seem to be a more hands off dr and has great respect for nature in medicine. I wish I knew more about his history as an OB. I'm also pro-choice (as are most of my soccer mom friends).
I'm glad you investigated Ron Paul further. I also chose homebirth and encourage others to consider it. But I think a woman has every right to have a doctor do the delivery if she wants. And Dr. Paul stikes me as the type who really respects the mother.
However, I can't agree with you on the pro-choice issue. I just wanted to make sure that people knew homebirth advocates can be pro-life too.
