The other thread has 600+ replies, so I'll start another one. I thought he did great in the time they gave him. Applause every time he spoke. Lets hit the polls on CNN big.

i wish ron had been able to answer the final question on independent and moderate voters. it would have been then that he could leave a final note saying to the republican audience that he is the only candidate that can get independent, third-party, and democratic votes, and the only one who could beat a democrat in the general election.

nothing like giving Romney,Giuliani and McCain all the time what was the ratio they wound up with 5 to 1?

Ron did well IMO despite the feeling that this debate overall was lackluster. I like his style; he doesn't mince words and he answers directly without rhetoric. There's nodoubt in my mind now that there is a very active attempt to marginalize Ron Paul. It's my hope that these attempts fail. One thing I would recommend if I was on his staff though...Improve your posture when sitting Ron. :)

One thing that sickened me was when "The Moral Issue" was raised. Every candidate with the exception of Ron spewed out the usual neo-con rhetoric that forced me toleave the Republican Party in the first place. Ron Paul however was spot on with his answer. He got an applause for it as well.

I agree... that really was a question that was tailor made for Ron Paul. Perhaps he can address it in a podcast or youtube submission? I think he should be making up for the time they don't give him with self-made stuff like that.

He should have a video of him answering every question he didn't get to during the debate (aka almost all of them).

If they ever do get a poll online, does anybody think they will post it on the air?

Exactly. Get him in front of a camera to answer ALL of the questions from the debate, in 1 minute blurbs, then post as a podcast series.

I think Dr Paul did a very good job with the few minutes he was given.

BUT! I also would like to see two things. I believe he should be more assertive when he does have time on screen.

I also think he is missing a huge boost by not being responsive to the immigration issue. Mark my words, the war is very important, but this amnesty will seal the candidates fates.

It seemed all his responses were on the war in Irag.

Dr. Paul, as far as I have seen.....does not address immigration, and missed an opportunity tonight to let America know he would close the border......thats what they want to hear!

Please don't throw rocks, I love the man, but we must be honest and all of us must somehow come to a consensus and pass it on. We must win, we must win, he is our only hope.

Great idea. Very great. He's the only really different candidate because he is the only true conservative.
