You just hit the nail on the head. Paul is making good points but "the people" are too busy watching American Idol and being spoon fed pablum by the MSM. I hope and pray that enough people are awake and alert to vote for Ron Paul.

If this nation continues on it's present course the future is very dark indeed.

Executive orders are unconstitutional. It allows legislative powers in the executive branch. another thing that needs to stop immediately.

I think the interview was FANTASTIC. At the very least it will raise a LOT of eyebrows amongst the "who is Ron Paul" briggade watching Fox at the time. It will make people wonder why the IRS even exists, why a NH couple are holed up in their home refusing the pay taxes and, at the same time, introduce them to Ron Paul.

I think it will give a LOT of exposure to his campaign.

Ron Paul must be very careful what he says at this stage of the game.......its a big chess game.

When Ron Paul is President, I guarantee he would pardon all in jail for tax reasons and I think all those in prison for victimless crimes......they are unconstitutional.

He may not be able to waive a magic wand and make it go away, but I promise you they will all be limping by the time he leaves office and the public educated!

Yes executive orders are Constitutional, but they are intended to be just that... Executive orders.
Orders binding upon the Executive department and its agencies... not law that is binding upon the public at large.

Cavuto got RonPauled!

Neil Cavuto asked him "If you were President on January 20 would you tell the American people that they didn't have to pay taxes?"

Ron Paul: No, I would ask the Congress and try to persuade the Congress.

That to me sounds like he has no intention of pardoning tax evaders as President. It sounds like he is going to compromise his principles and work with Congress which is in essence selling out.

He'll win the election, but he'll never do the things he says he is going to do such as getting rid of the IRS and drastically cutting federal programs.

I think we all have to look at the big picture. I think we all know that Ron will win in November if he wins the Republican nomination. With the primary schedule loaded in February we should get a good sense of who the nominee will be or whether we will have an open convention. If it looks like Ron will win the nomination, it will be very simple to run Ron Paulers for Congress in every congressional district in America. The Ron Paul infrastructure will be there to elect a Ron Paul Congress to help out. Who wants to be a Congressman?

I don't think he was fibbing, he probably just heard of it, but doesn't know the details.
