Polls: 2016 National GOP Primary, WFB Poll: NH

Leading nationally and in New Hampshire is very nice. Notably Ted Cruz is absent from the polls.

They seem to have polled "Adults" and "Republicans", rather than "Likely Voters". No wonder the undecided is so high.

Other polls show Rand with a solid 3 to 5 point lead here and much lower undecided.

What is their deal with a headline like that?
Cause that's what the poll said? Yes 62% of the population in the "libertarian" Live Free or Die state support keeping Gitmo open.

Most of the population is stupid though. If you ask a random person "Do you support _____ for fighting terrorism?". they don't even care what's in the blank and answer like good sheep. It's our job and duty to change this.

It's an internet poll though. I'd like to see a national telephone poll confirm his lead.

Close Gitmo and then do what???????? That's the inherent problem. Closing Gitmo in a vacuum in which the prisoners would magically whisked into the ether would be the ideal situation, but that's not the real world. It's a very complex question, that goes beyond a rudimentary "yes" or "no", thanks to our government's intrusions.

how about give them a charges, give them a trial, those innocent are set free... those guilty are sentenced. you know, act civilized.

Woah... Hitlery's net approval is at +9, that's 3 points down from the last one I saw

Unfortunately, they must stay there until the aforementioned is accomplished, since they are not entitled to privileges of the American civilian justice system. I don't know why the Pentagon and intelligence agencies are dragging their feet in that regard, but I have some suspicions. Process them as quickly as possible through the military courts and then shut the place down.

Exactly. What exactly is the point of closing down Gitmo and then opening up a new prison in the United States where we continue to hold people indefinitely without trial? The issue isn't where the prison is located but whether the prisoners are receiving some kind of due process or not.
