Is it possible to quickly re-cut this with a different backing track? Something a bit more 'ominous' sounding... which I think creates a stronger connection to both the images and opening credits (WHICH ARE AWESOME).

That's a great idea. If you want to find a track that can work I'll be happy to edit it
