Paul to be in Maine on Saturday

Finished 3rd In Nevada, Missouri. 4th in Florida, South Carolina, and Colorado. Zero wins. Still sitting in Lake Jackson, TX. Yeah that will increase your popularity and gain you campaign donations/votes. You have the Maine newspapers publishing hit pieces and marginalization articles. Romney is there campaigning... @ least if there was a Ron Paul Tour Bus... we could drive it around state and give the impression of running. It's like we're playing the game: Where's Waldo

This is a disaster!!! The Campaign has not and is not learning anything from thier defeats thus far.....

Ron should have been in Maine today, certainly tomorrow. Saturday is way, I mean way too late.!!!!

I am convinced now without a win Saturday and based on this lackitasical attitude of Campaigning to Win a State many RP Supporters will become bystanders.

Watch the No One But Paul Money Bomb fizzle without a will to win.....especially if we lose Saturday and yes a second place finish in the Pine Tree will be a HUGE LOSS!!!!!

Chill out.
Romney just lost three states in a row.
He NEEDS a win. Paul is going to let him have Maine, to get his momentum back.
You know nothing about the delicate balancing act that is going on. Ron is a playing chess, not checkers.
The LAST thing we need now is a win.
I just hope Romney can pull it off. If Ron Paul for some reason comes in first, it will totally screw up the master plan.

This is becoming ridiculous. I understand that he is old and needs rest. His heart may not even be 100% into this election. I get, understand, and to a certain extent respect that. But that is many millions of dollars going down the drain.

No campaigning Wednesday, Thursday or Friday with a Maine victory hanging in the balance. This is similar to the campaign going dark for 4 days after New Hampshire. I think its wrong for them to send out emails promoting another money bomb if the effort has been largely set to autopilot.

The delegate argument is fine but the effort would gain some credibility if he could lock down a win somewhere. Is there a better state to target than Maine? Which one?

Same thing happened in South Carolina. Paul had momentum from NH and was polling at 20%. He went home for a few days and was promptly ignored by the media for the rest of the time leading up to the election. Paul should have flown straight to Maine Wed. If he needs to rest he could have rested most of Wed. and all of today.

Romney is now making an ad buy in Maine.

You know what's kinda sad... I actually read that as if you were being serious until the very end because it almost does seem that there are those here that truly think this way. =/

paul needs to go to maine. now.
THIS. Romney has now made the state huge as he is sticking his neck out by visiting on Friday AND going up with an ad buy. If he loses, he can't say he didn't contest it. This is an all out fight for victory people and we can not let it slip away! Paul needs to eat, sleep, and drink in MAINE from now until Saturday night!

Roooooooooooooooooooooooooon Pauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, where aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare you?

... it almost does seem that there are those here that truly think this way. =/

"almost"?
Ha.
Dude, there are DOZENS of folks who think this way.
That's why I can't stay away from this place! I actually LOL every time I come across a nugget like what I typed.
It's the best entertainment on the web.
Just wait until mid-April... that's when it really gets good.

If he flew directly from MN to ME and took a day of rest it would be understandable. What is restful about flying from MN to TX for a day or two and having to fly back to ME...? All those air miles would tire me out.

It almost seems like Ron wants Romney to win in Maine to stop Santorum's momentum. What other reason could there possibly be for Ron not to campaign in the only state that's holding a caucus this week? This is just mind boggling to say the least.

EXACTLY. How can anyone (campaign or grassroots) ask with any sense of validity that "supporters in Maine and in neighboring states to go to Maine in person" if their candidate isn't even there himself?

SOLUTION: He should have gone directly to Maine after MN, even if that meant a day or two of rest in Maine or light days yesterday and today. THEN on 2/12 go back to Texas for a day or two and rest and then make a campaign stop for 2 or 3 days in Puerto Rico, being the only one to visit it. Do that now while we have a low point of contest activity. Then from PR campaign in MI and make stops in Idaho and ND when not in MI.

The week of 2/12 is really the only time to rest, and such rest should be done in the warm climate of PR.

You are absolutely right. I love the ideals that Ron Paul presents, but maybe he really never will be quite ready for the presidency. I don't believe that just yet, but it is becoming more and more likely. Everyone wants to try this "distance race" nonsense. I don't see it. Others say he is "infiltrating" the GOP like a super spy. That isn't in any way his MO and it would make me wonder who else he deceives. Ron Paul is an idealist and a man who's works I will read for years to come. His lectures change my entire mode of thinking into something simple yet effective. He makes us(his supporters) the tip of the spear. The problem is that the campaign simply isn't do its job. I don't know if Paul is either. If he job is really to become president that is.

Maybe Ron WANTS to be the VP?

Maybe he's sick? Maybe Carol is sick?

WTF.

Like the idea of being there ALL WEEK is rocket-science....

Seriously. THIS is depressing.
