To me? I would care even if it made a difference if 1/10 of a percent. But, of course it should be up to the campaign when to make a fuss about it. And everyone should care if it could make a difference in the order of finish or if a delegate were at stake. But 31 out of 233000 is 0.013% -- and it was corrected. End of story. (Or it should be.)

Why don't you go to Ron paul War room and tell the girl that complained that her families votes for Ron paul were not counted and tell her to forget about it, that according to you her and her families votes don't matter. You sir are a TOOL!

Umm -- they were counted, because the error was corrected. Beyond that, I would suspect that any reasonable person who voted for Ron Paul would not want his supporters running around acting like jerks, especially after the error was corrected.

Any unintentional error must be punished by jail time at a minimum. The stakes are far too high to mess around with playskool measures. Far too high. This kind of negligence can cost not only lives but the Republic itself.

So then what is to be done if someone is found to have committed some intentional election fraud? I say execute them as traitors. But then that's just me. That's because I honor those who have given their lives to preserve our election process.

That is why there must be a failsafe methodology. Three totally independent counting processes each reporting independently to three different news organizations for a total of nine different public information outlets. Wherever there is a discrepancy there can then be focused recounts of those precincts to identify and correct the methodology.

When people count and tally hundreds of thousands of votes, there are going to be mistakes. We should demand that the count be conducted as accurately as possible. We should look out for things like statistical oddities (as in the case of Sutton) and politely ask the nice folks to re-check their numbers (which they did). If there's an error, we should expect them to correct it (which they did).

But...
We should not be making a stink about a statewide recount where it will make absolutely no difference in the outcome. And we should not continue to harass someone after they've fixed an honest mistake. Hell, she shouldn't have been threatened or harassed in the first place. (Why should I have to say that??)

This gets us (and Dr. Paul, by extension) lovely headlines like today's:

CJP can you please let us know how you came to the conclusion that Jennifer call fixed an "Honest" mistake. Listening to her excuses there is only 2 conclusions one can come up with:
1: Is that she is a totally incompetant moron and is totally incapable of handling a job a high school student could do.
2: She has been busted with election fraud and claimimg that she is a totally incompetant moron so she doesn't go to jail.

With 2 other towns now being busted for exactly the same thing I am putting my money toward number 2.

CJP, you really must start to understand very soon that it isn't how many votes RP got defrauded by any more, it is now that we want fair elections, fair vote counts.
