Paul says stopping Hillary Clinton is reason to vote for Donald Trump

People believe that he isn't an establishment politician and they are correct.

You know very well that Priebus is simply doing his job in supporting Trump - now that Trump has won the party's nomination (despite the best efforts of the GOP establishment).

The only reason that you are playing dumb about it is because you are an utterly disingenuous, anti-liberty mole.

I'm guessing you didn't read the thread.

Pretending that anything else in this thread has any bearing on the disingenuous lies that you posted and that I responded to is simply more disingenuous lying on your part.

Rand can say and do what he likes. I don't have a lot of ill feelings toward him but he seems like he's trying to being honest and principled. But I'm not a Paulbot and while I respect Rand and greatly respect Ron, I follow my own beliefs and principles.

I'm not voting for Trump, Killary, or Johnson. Killary is by and far the worse of the three and the fact that she still has any credibility to anyone makes blood force its way from under my eyelids. But Trump and Johnson have fumbled over and over again by saying nonsensical things that don't line up with what people perceive them to be. Trump is covered in establishment politicians and has ties to the Clintons, and Johnson proves over and over again he's a statist masquerading as a libertarian at the Libertarian Ball.

Fuck 'em.

I struggle with the whole idea of "strategic" voting (vote for X not because you like X but because it will prevent Y). I mean, I sort of understand it, but it sure seems like a really effective scare tactic to keep waffling voters in line. I'm not voting D or R this year, because no matter what my reasoning would be, on some level it'd be sending the message that we as voters want more of the same. To me, that's the ultimate form of throwing one's vote away: claiming to be upset but continuing to vote for more of it.

EXACTLY.

What if they gave an election and no one came?

“The first world war came and its cost was laid on the people.
The second world war — the third — what will be the cost.
And will it repay the people for what they pay?...
The little girl saw her first troop parade and asked,
‘What are those?’
‘Soldiers.’
‘What are soldiers?’
‘They are for war. They fight and each tries to kill as many of the other side as he can.’
The girl held still and studied.
‘Do you know ... I know something?’
‘Yes, what is it you know?’
‘Sometime they’ll give a war and nobody will come.’
-Carl Sandburg-

After Trump took over the party, they were forced to stand with him. Not the other way around as you claim.

Reince Priebus and the GOP elite could have propped up Cruz, Rubio or Kasich. Instead they helped Trump secure the nomination in exchange for helping them centralize power by shutting out the conservative grassroots at the Rules Committee.

Not surprised that Paul wants to stop neocons preferred puppet and tool.

This will boost "stop HRC" campaign. With this impact and likely impact of Stein & Baraka breaking away some women/blacl votes away from SWC HRC... chances are pretty good that suspected war crimianls lobbies will be SOL come Nov.

It seems to me that Reince Priebus stands with Trump, not the other way around.

Regardless that doesn't make Trump an establishment politician now does it? Please feel free to show me the political office that Trump held previously.

Rand Paul is doing the exact same thing Priebus is doing. Something Senator Paul said he would do. He is simply doing his job in supporting Trump - now that Trump has won the party's nomination.

While I do think you and your fellow Trump supporters are utterly disingenuous, anti-liberty moles. I don't think you are playing dumb. I think that is genuine stupidity you all have on display.

If the GOP elite truly were against Trump, they would have shut him down. Instead, they cut deals with him to secure the nomination and shut out the grassroots. Trump funded the Gang of 8 politicians, Trump funded the politicians who were responsible for forcing Obamacare, Trump funded the politicians currently in the White House, and Trump funded the politician who runs against him today.

Wow, so Trump was a real mover and shaker with all that money.

How does this all align with your "Donald Trump is actually not that rich and really bad at business" theory?

Perhaps he borrowed the money and gave it to the politicians.

I'm going to make a fair number of bizarre allegations (but allegations of which I have full confidence in), some allegations of which I'm sure some here are already wind to, like a Russian operation to help his dad and then Donald Trump get elected President, but before I conclusively make and prove such allegations I just want to wind people of the idea of completely abandoning the Pauls.

So why not support Rand/Trump?

It is fun to watch you spin your tale. Please tell us more about how Trump is actually the preferred choice of DC politicians and not Jeb!
