Went to my county convention today, ron got ALL 8 delegates to the state convention! WERE COM'IN BABY! We just need to stay patient, things are going to get REALLY interesting. ;)

Edit: You should have seen the look on the faces of these two "establishment" guys. They had gone to every state convention for 20 years (and were obvious Santy supporters)....they got CRUSHED!!! It was amazing....they were soooooo pissed!!!:D

My brother's county hasn't gone yet, but he says he thinks they'll sweep it when they do.

Ron Paul delegates/alternates got into probably 60-70% of slots from my BPOU today. I'm an alternate. Feels good.

There's still the Congressional District and State Convention to worry about, but I feel like we have a good shot at picking up plenty of national delegates from MN...possibly even a plurality or majority.

I have a feeling things are going to start looking up for us soon! County and state conventions are coming up, and I sure that we will crush in MN, IA, NV, CO, ME, WA, and AK.

I wish some of this stuff would get picked up by the MSM so people would realize the Ron Paul is actually doing pretty well in the delegate category. The idiots keep pushing the grinch and santy even though they hardly have any delegates. Very stupid.

If most of the voters in the district and state conventions are Ron Paul supporters, maybe all of the national delegates will be Paul's. That would rock awesome!!!

Yesterday on NPR they did a small piece on Romney. They mentioned how it would take an "act of God" for Santorum or Gingrich to beat him. Not one mention of Ron Paul.

Anyway, this thread is good news. What does it mean in the long run?

It means that this dog has teeth, and the GOP better watch out lest we come to bite it in the ass.

How many BPOUs are there in Minnesota? I can't find that information anywhere.

I think the "BPOU" is the same thing as county in Minnesota, though it could just be late and my thinking is muddled. A quick google search says there are 87 of them.

BPOUs are either counties or state senate districts depending on what part of the state you are in. I'm not sure how many there are. My BPOU convention was 2 weeks ago already. We got around 40% of the delegates, myself being one of them. I'm from a weaker part of the state too. I've heard many reports today from our stronger areas where we swept all or a majority of the delegates. Things are looking good here.

Hmm... pretty much meaning, "even God couldn't make Ron Paul beat Romney"...
