Overstock.com CEO talks Fox ban

Agreed that Overstock should still be boycotted.

I will never buy from Overstock again. When corporate profits are more important than defending democracy then that is a company which will never again get my business. There are other stations to advertise one, none of which are nearly as blatant in overtly silencing the only true voice in support of the people as Fox.

One Overstock customer here (and I have indeed been in the past) gone for good...

For the people who will boycott because he didn't pull the ads: He doesn't OWN the company. He is the CEO charged, by the shareholders, to run the company and maximize profits. Not push his own political agenda.

Then do a little reading there andclick on the red button at top and watch the amazing presentation movie Deep Capture. It is well worth it. Once again it appears in yet another way, the public is being robbed. I did not totally understand the terms, but I definitely got the gist of it and will read some more on his blog.

This man is an American hero in his own right.

He has been investigating yet another ripoff of the American people. Maybe someone who is financial genius can come up with a plan for a buch of folks to buy into Overstock (you know-opposite of sell NWS) Anyway, take a look and read. Very enlightening.

I believe that pulling Overstocks advertising from Fox would represent an inappropriate conflation of my personal politics with my corporate responsibilities

If by not pulling adverting affected Overstocks bottom line then it would be in the best interest of the corporation. So we just need to help better align his personal politics with his corporate responsibilities by boycotting Overstock.

Please go to his website and watch the presentation. It affects more than just some smaller companies apparently. It affects Grandmas and other individual portfolios , too, it seems.

It looks like an octupus financial conspiracy that the financial media seems to also be involved in. Take a look before you decide he is a bad guy. Looks like he might have an accident/suicide if he keeps going with his investigation. You finance folks, come back here and let me know what you think after checking his blog and movie, if you please.

Support Overstock.com and Patrick Byrne

Folks,

Please, to those here kneejerk reacting against Overstock and Patrick's reponse: Please Google and watch "Dark side of the looking glass"; which will inform you of the weapon of naked short selling the elite use to selectively crush competition in the free markets.

Patrick IS fighting our fight against the status quo and has paid dearly as a subject to the "free markets".

When Dr. Paul talks about "shutting down the Fed", it is a shorthand for that entity and for EVERYTHING to which it is connected, as the deepcapture website stipulates, and G. Edward Griffin explains in "the creature from jekyll island".

Patrick Byrne's fight is one that will help us ALL to expose THE CORE of what we are up against once Ron Paul takes office. Don't underestimate how the war will be waged if Ron Paul's candidacy gains traction in NH... the evidence and connections Patrick Byrne has made regarding the fraud on Wall St. and within our institutions and media may play a role, and he needs to first SURVIVE to continue this fight.

I understand the excitement over the supportive comments by the CEO. But it really amounts to lip service if he will not act. He is saying exactly what RP supporters want to hear while keeping his ad dollars with Fox News.

Overstock belongs on the boycott list imo.
