It was July 12, 2008. I'm doing this because it brings back a time when our grassroots movement really meant something. We pulled together without the help of any organized group of professionals and we pulled off the one of biggest grassroots events for a single Congressman ever in DC. And we did it because he asked us to. We proved what we are capable of doing all on our own. I miss that enthusiasm. I don't see it anymore.

Here are some never before seen pictures of the day. See if you are in any of them. I have 5 discs worth and haven't gotten through every picture yet. Stay tuned:

This isn't going well....I just tried to upload five more pics and resize them and after several minutes tinypic put up a 'can't display...' page. I'll try this again later. Puter seems to be going really slow.

it was such a good trip.. I had way too much fun.

this is a picture I took of Malkusm, marching next to me:

I'm going to have to gradually add all of these pics because my puter is slow at uploading them.

Thanks Clay and LE. There's more coming. I'm hoping this inspires people. We need a new project.

This picture's been seen before, but it's worth re-posting:

I was so damn hot that day, but it was worth it.

I went back to the hotel bar and had beers with Michael Sheuer.

I also got to talk to Tom Woods, G. Edward Griffin, Naomi Wolfe, among others....
