Ok, Ron Paul is history. But surely we can all help Bob Barr.

Well, how the heck does ANYONE get elected to the job then? No one has prior experience doing THAT job.

People get promoted all the time to a job which they have never before held. Look into any workplace. Their experience matters because even if they've never held the job, their experience gives us insight into their potential to successfully execute the job.

I find it really strange that people would vote for someone (Barr) as President who has virtually ZERO experience in an Administrative or Executive job -- grandstanding on social issues is all fine and well for a demagogic legislator -- but running a country requires at least a LITTLE experience.

But lucky us, the public considers house legislative experience as above the line to qualify for the position. That's the beauty of looking at this strategically. In the case of the POTUS race, the candidate need not have experience that actually prepares him for the office. He need only have experience that the public believes he needs to have. Perception trumps reality.

Well...I would say Barr will be getting the votes that McCain loses from outside the Revolution..so I guess we will make up the loss of the Baldwin folks with those people. I know that is going to happen..because the LP will be more visable. I have to accept that the Revolution is split. Whatever. TONES

I really wish Ron Paul would make a new political party...The Liberty Party. Is there already one called that? We COULD together make one you know..for 2012. TONES

I'm not sure why this is putting people into flipping out mode. Some are even suggesting violence against our own for the sake of consolidation (much like The Terror)

The American revolution was split in the 1780s between the Federalist and the anti-Federalists. If it weren't for the anti-Federalist, we wouldn't have the Bill of Rights which is something we can all appreciate.

That's funny. I don't feel "split" at all. I feel more guided than ever before. Our vote means nothing. Our hearts and minds are where it is at. I would much prefer to see a fellow revolutionary strengthen their heart and mind, rather than vote for the sole purpose of a false sense of unity as determined by Diebold, THE PRESS and the EC.

You can be as strong in heart and mind as you want, but that means shit if there's no impact on electoral politics/governance.

Bob Barr actually is a racist.

Write in Ron Paul.

Ludicrous. Actually though, explain to me (and someone should as well tell ex CIA agent Barr) how being racist or nudist or a scientist for that matter are not allowed under the Constitution or how it goes against libertarian views of to each their own.

As someone that supports peoples right to discriminate as Ron Paul has mentioned, if a person wishes to discriminate against me they have a right to. What does Barr plan on doing to prohibit people from thinking racialistic thoughts? Pass a law? Establish a government organisation to put them all in camps to change their thoughts? Seriously.. He's got issues and I didn't care for his "dissing" of folks that might think such as it is their right to do so. At any rate, Barr won't get my vote... Can't be trusted. More influence or not. Even Alex Jones has said the same thing.

JMO but I think that the message is more important than the messengers.
Ron Paul says we will know what to do. He says good things about both candidates,

Chuck Baldwin has the ear of a whole different segment of the population than Barr does. Therefore if we support both as apparently RP does then we can reach more of the people with the message.

Also Chuck Baldwin talks about things that Bob Barr doesn't such as the NWO and getting rid of the federal reserve.
They both appeal to different people but they are still getting the freedom message to more people than either one of them alone could do.

I'm for choosing the one that most aligns with your views to vote for but supporting both in spreading the message through helping fund their campaigns so they can get out the message to the most people.
