Haiti Scolds Americans over Springfield Concerns, Demands Reparations at U.N.

https://www.breitbart.com/national-...springfield-concerns-demands-reparations-u-n/

Christian K. Caruzo 26 Sep 2024

The head of Haiti’s “Transitional Presidential Council” Edgard Leblanc Fils demanded “historical reparations” for his country at the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, asserting that the international community has an “essential role” in Haiti’s recovery.

The Transitional Presidential Council, which Leblanc presides over, was formed at the end of April following a prolonged period of political negotiations to serve as the nation’s working government after months of gang violence left the country on the brink of total collapse. Haiti has not had a president since the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse in July 2021.

In his speech to the U.N., Leblanc extended a salute to all Haitian migrants around the world, assuring them that, wherever they are, the council he leads is “thinking of them until the conditions are right for them to return to the fold.”

Speaking on behalf of the Haitian people, Leblanc also extended “fraternal greetings to all the friends of Haiti” that have shown solidarity with its migrants, making special mention of Springfield, Ohio.

“The long history of friendship and mutual solidarity between our two nations, since our participation in the Battle of Savannah in 1779, allows us to say with confidence that the American people reject any incitement to hatred against our community,” Leblanc said. “The active participation of Haitian immigrants at various levels of American life is tangible and significant.”

“In this respect, the passions that naturally emerge during an election campaign should never be used as a pretext for xenophobia or racism in a country like the United States, a nation forged by immigrants of all origins and which has set itself up as a model of democracy on a global scale,” he continued.

Leblanc stressed that solving Haiti’s problems “rests first and foremost on the shoulders of the Haitian people,” but that the responsibility does not lie with them alone. Leblanc declared the international community, the United Nations, and the “foreign powers that often played a decisive role in Haiti’s history” responsible for an “essential part” of the efforts towards restoring peace and the rule of law in the country.

“In this sense, Haiti’s failure to recover is not just that of a nation. It reflects a collective failure, a global inability to fully respect the principles of solidarity, justice and international cooperation,” Leblanc said. “Together, with shared responsibility and renewed commitment, we can transform this crisis into an opportunity, and chart a lasting course towards peace.”

The head of the transitional council described Haiti as the “great victim of a historical injustice that has … delayed its development,” accusing France of holding its freedom ransom in 1825. Lebland added that Haiti’s colonial past “largely mortgaged its development.”

“On the eve of the bicentenary of this unprecedented event in the history of the world, has the time not come for the restitution of these sums?” Leblanc asked the U.N.

The Haitian transitional council leader affirmed that Haiti has confidence in the United Nations’ role to set up dialogue mechanisms to facilitate talks between “countries that were victims of colonization and the former colonial powers.”

“Here, at this 79th session of the General Assembly, Haiti is, through me, not simply demanding reparation, but raising a question of principle, that of imminent justice,” he asserted.

On the subject of the out-of-control gang violence in Haiti, Leblanc assured his listeners that restoring national security is an absolute priority of the nation’s authorities, who are “fully committed” to ending the spiral of violence and restoring order to the country. Leblanc also expressed support of a U.N. peacekeeping mission to fight gang violence in the country proposed by the United States and Ecuador this month.

“They are aware that peace and stability are the indispensable foundations for Haiti’s recovery, for the restoration of confidence in institutions, and for the socio-economic development of its people,” he said.

18:25 - Two girls, born and raised in Springfield confirm Haitans are stealing cats, they believe they are being used for food. One says she saw a white van driven by a Haitian that was full of cats. Second girl saw a Haitian carrying a dead goose, and confirms her aunt had a cat stolen by a Haitian migrant, it was caught on her doorbell camera.

I gotta go make dinner, but there may be more in this video.

Where in the video is the doorbell video? And if it's not in there then the video is bvllshyt.

Journalist Christopher Rufo confirmed that African “migrants” in Dayton eat cats.
But as well, on September 21, journalist Kristopher J. Anderson X-posted two pages from a legal motion that apparently confirm the cat-eating story. The pages are from a response to a plaintiff’s motion for an injunction against the city. The plaintiff: Haitian Bridge Alliance. The defendant: Springfield.
“The sacrificial consumption of animals, particularly pets such as cats, poses a serious health risk to the community, including potential zoonotic diseases and public sanitation issues,” the response said:
Local regulations and city ordinances are designed to prevent harm and safeguard public welfare. These regulations are consistent with both state and federal laws aimed to protect animal welfare and public health.
The response also notes that the “plaintiff alleges that their constitutional rights outweigh the rights of pet owners.”
That invites the obvious observation that the filing wouldn’t mention the consumption of cats if cats were not being consumed — by Haitians.
“Constitutional rights” apparently refers to Haitian voodoo. On X, a young woman who claimed to be the daughter of a Haitian immigrant, explained it clearly.
“The majority of the island does practice voodoo,” she said, citing her immigrant father.
“They eat cats for two reasons,” she said:
Number one is for survival. This is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. … Second, they do do animal sacrifices for their religion, voodoo.
A man who claimed to be from the Caribbean said the same thing in another X post. “The Haitian immigrants are indeed eating animals,” he said:
Let me tell you something about these people. Not only are they harvesting cats for food, but also for witchcraft purposes, voodoo purposes. Understand this — if you don’t wanna take my word for it, go out there, meet a Haitian, talk to them about it.
This is not something they aren’t proud of. It’s their culture. They eat these animals and they use the blood and bones of these animals for voodoo and witchcraft purposes. This is not a joke.

The New American article links to a Twitter Post that has a couple of pages with NO FVCKING HEADER ON IT that anybody could have created with a word processor. The person who posted this on Twitter was asked "How do you know this is real? Do you have a case number?" Their response? "It's real and it's likely sealed." The rebuttal? "Then how the fvck did you get ahold of it?" I kid you not. This is amature level bvllshyt.

Top scientists announced today that cats are extinct. That's right, the Haitians ate all of them. Everywhere.

Maybe if he called it a dossier the Democrats would believe it?

Maybe if he called it a dossier the Democrats would believe it?

I don't know what causes Democrats to have the faith that they place in things. I don't know what causes Republicans to put blind faith where they do.

But sensible people are easy. Tell them a case number so they can verify it.

 Or maybe if there was a freaking case number so that the case could be independently verified? Seriously why are you Swordsmyth so desperate to make this story true despite all evidence to the contrary? And now I've lost faith in the New American if they are going to base an article off of a picture on Twitter without doing ANY fact checking whatsoever. This isn't about what "Democrats" believe. It's about what can actually be verified. I can verify that an FBI informant blew up the WTC in 1993. I can verify that there was at one point a "John Doe # 2" in the Oklahoma City bombing. I can verify that Dr. Fauci and Donald Trump both downplayed COVID in February 2020 and that the Democrats are wrong to put the COVID outcomes squarely on Trump's shoulders when he did every damn think Fauci asked him to do. I can't verify this cat story and neither can you.

I can verify you are wrong and Trump shut down travel from China around Jan/Feb and was taking it quite seriously before cases began springing up in the US. Democrats then over-reacted when governors started murdering people and blaming it on Covid and Trump called the hyped up media coverage of Covid a "hoax".

I can also verify that the government officials you believe about the dogs and cats are making millions of dollars bussing in Haitians, raising rent on the locals, kicking them out and then jacking up rents further and renting to the Haitians illegally by stuffing in 12-20 into a house, then sending them to factories to work and skimming off their paychecks.

All the kids in the video I linked to said their schools are now 60% Haitian, one kid says he has entire classes where he is the only non-Haitian, they are assaulting and raping women, kidnapping, crashing their cars all over the place and killing people. These politicians don't care about their community, I assume everything they say, the opposite is true.

You have dozens of people reporting their cats are suddenly missing and blaming it on the Haitians, the "problem" they had with stray cats years ago suddenly disappeared, a black girl claiming the Haitians decapitated her dog, multiple reports of Haitians driving around white vans full of cats, a woman claiming she saw her missing cat strung up in her Haitian neighbor's backyard, you have multiple Haitian immigrants claiming that Haitians eat cats, and also sacrifice them and use their bones in their religion, you have a video of an African migrant grilling up cats in their backyard, an allegedly sealed court case about Haitians murdering cats...

And you believe the corrupt government "officials".

I get it. You want a verifiable video of them doing it, specifically, Haitians in Springfield, a court case, etc.

I'm just saying you're wrong, I would bet everything I have that some Haitian has killed a cat in Springfield at some point, I'm guessing it has happened dozens if not hundreds of times and you picked the wrong side to bet on.

Some background on the interview, that guy is on a week long tour of the 7 swing states asking people in the big cities who they are voting for. One day per state, he's on a schedule with his crew. His viewers begged him to stop in Springfield on his way from Michigan to PA to ask about dogs and cats, it looks like they got their late afternoon and had to head out to PA so they could stay on schedule and therefore could not follow up with the aunt who had the video. But he did see a video of a Haitian taking a crap in the middle of a dollar store or something.

It seems apparent that the reason a lot of people in the town haven't "seen" anything is because since the Haitians arrived, everybody stays in their house. The kids said that people used to be out, kids playing all over the place, now they have to be really careful and people mostly stay in their house.

Then you have all these bomb threats in the schools and government buildings, being blamed on Trump supporters, which is insane.. then they finally come out and say they were all hoaxes, and the calls came from foreign countries.. you know these calls were meant to put fear in the people in the community, that if they speak up about what is going on there may be a violent incident in their town - and/or - to anger the migrants, make them feel unsafe so that others fear they may seek reprisal on people coming forward publicly with information about what is going on in their town.

Who would you presume is behind all the bomb threat hoaxes jmdrake, and what reason do you believe they are doing it?

Dr. Fauci also supported a travel ban early on. And you seem to have a reading comprehension problem. I specifically said the Democrats were wrong to blame the COVID deaths on Trump because Trump did what Fauci asked. So know. I'm not wrong. You're just slow.

That doesn't have a damn thing to do with whether or not cats are being eaten. There are verifiable reasons to question the policy without having to make stuff up just like there are verifiable reasons to be against gun control without having to claim that no kids were killed at Sandy Hook and that the parents were crisis actors.

All the kids in the video I linked to said their schools are now 60% Haitian, one kid says he has entire classes where he is the only non-Haitian, they are assaulting and raping women, kidnapping, crashing their cars all over the place and killing people. That's got nothing to do with eating cats.

The video of the African migrant 1) wasn't in Springfield 2) wasn't Haitian and 3) wasn't actually cats. The "supposedly sealed court case" is bullshyt and any intelligent person knows that. If the case was "sealed" then how did the dumbass on Twitter get a copy of it? And if he got a copy of it, why can't he post the case number? Total bullshyt! And I see you're throwing in a bunch of irrelevant "facts" about non Haitian people supposedly grilling cats in another city (and it wasn't cats) to cover up the fact that any intelligent person knows the "sealed case wth no case number" allegation is bullshyt.

And you believe the government "officials".

Not at all! I alrealdy explained all of the times I do not believe government officials! But you're dishoenstly ignoring that and even falsely accusing me of blaming Trump for the COVID deaths when I said the opposite of that! I believe the evidence and you don't have any.

I get it. You want a verifiable video of them doing it, specifically, Haitians in Springfield, a court case, etc.

If you put forward a video and I can prove it's false, like the white guy that Swordsmyth reposted as being a Haitian cat eater, or you bring forward a case that doesn't have a case number that is worse that not bringing forward any evidence at all! It's fabricarted evidence! Really, imagine if someon posted on Twitter some part of some "sealed case" that was supposed to be Trump raping some minor, would you believe that or would you call BS? That's a rhetorical question. You already damn well know you would call BS.

I'm just saying you're wrong

I'm just saying you're provably full of shite.

dannno isn't sensible. That's the problem. He knows good and damn well if a Democrat tried to pull this BS against Trump or Alex Jones or Ron Paul or Rand Paul or anybody else he supports he'd call bullshyt and demand to see the case header so he could look the case up for himself. Even if he found the case was "sealed" at least he'd know there was a case.

Fauci did not support the travel restrictions and the Democrats called Trump a racist for instating them. Trump did it on his own, because Scott Adams was screaming on his podcast that if he didn't shut down travel with China he would stop supporting him. Trump was watching Scott Adams podcast every morning at the time with one of his aides, which is also where he got his information on the Healight study.

The video of the African migrant 1) wasn't in Springfield 2) wasn't Haitian and 3) wasn't actually cats.

First two are true, although it was like the next town over, the last one is false. The guy who went to corroborate everything with the creator of the video, witnesses, interview neighbors, also interviewed professional chicken butchers as well as veterinary specialists who all confirmed what was on the grill was multiple cats.

The "supposedly sealed court case" is bullshyt and any intelligent person knows that. If the case was "sealed" then how did the dumbass on Twitter get a copy of it?

The same way dumbasses on twitter get anything, it gets leaked somehow. I'm not confirming it's a real case, but if I had to bet $100, I would pick "yes".

Trump did it on his own, because Scott Adams was screaming on his podcast that if he didn't shut down travel with China he would stop supporting him.

Trump made a decision that important because of peer pressure from a cartoonist?

What are you really trying to sell? Because you ain't selling Trump at all.
