**OFFICIAL ELECTION NIGHT THREAD** - Candidates sorted by poll closing

Rural California + Orange County + San Diego County are quite conservative - it matters where the votes are coming from.

(Exit polls show Boxer up 10).

I know. It's still funny to see Boxer behind ... We'll have to wait and see if Californians are beginning to awaken along with the rest of the country. Let's see how close those exit polls were at the end of the day.

And Boxer has pulled into the lead, where I suspect she'll stay for the rest of the night.

As of 11:55 pm in New York, with 51% of the vote in, Warren Redlich is at 26,681 votes (see source).

IF the tally is accurate, and IF it holds, the math says by the time 100% the
votes are tallied, Warren should have about 53,500 votes.

The LP in NY has apparently acquired permanent ballot status. Congratulations, NYers. Thanks to Palladino, for being so unappealing.

Wrong! Fiorina currently in the LEAD with 20% reporting

Fiorina 47.5
Boxer 46.8

However, it probably won't REMAIN with Fiorina as the leader... too funny!

The Ron Paul caucus is now 8 House members and 3 Senators, and counting (Ken Buck? Joe Miller?).

Keep an eye on John Koster in WA-2, who is in a dead heat with his opponent. Koster has been endorsed by Ron Paul, Clint Didier, and Gun Owners of America.

Also a race worth watching is Morgan Philpot in UT-2, who is currently down about 5% with 50% of the votes in.

who are the 3 senators?

I'm going to start going through the election results and figuring out which of our guys came out on top from this list. Should be able to get that done by tomorrow. I'll make a thread with the results.

Then, we re-evaluate and re-load for 2012. :)

An amazing night and highly effective volley at the federal government. The main characteristic identifying this election is the depth of the outrage from the federal down to the state and local levels. Look at the changes in governorships and state houses as well as the federal government. We need to do a similar feat in 2012 and cleanse more of the Republican party ... unbelievable! :)

OP is updated with winners/losers. Any candidate listed who is not listed as having won/lost means that the race is still too close to call, or information on the race was not available.

We did good work in several state legislatures last night.

5+ "liberty candidates" elected to the state legislature in: Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, Utah, Wisconsin

Tim Huelskamp is Ron Paul-endorsed (R) for Kansas' 1st Congressional district.

Doesn't matter who his opponent is, that district is the western half (plus some) of the state, mostly rural (no cities over 40k), and staunchly Republican.

Yep. He's now my representative. You'll probably see a few votes that are about 432-3 with Huelskamp and Amash voting "no" with Ron.

I vetted Huelskamp a while back and he was a Huckabee guy in 2008, and is definitely not perfect....but he's certainly on my list for the "Ron Paul caucus."
