I vetted Huelskamp a while back and he was a Huckabee guy in 2008, and is definitely not perfect....but he's certainly on my list for the "Ron Paul caucus."

He'll probably be similar to Demint or Coburn, so if you like those guys, you'll like Tim. If you don't like those guys, then you won't like him. Also, by the time the Republican caucus in Kansas came around, Ron Paul really didn't have any chance to win at all. Huckabee was really the only candidate with any chance at all to beat McCain. Tim may have just thought that a vote for Ron was a wasted vote. He did put on his website this year that he was proud to get Ron's endorsement. I think that Tim is much more of a limited government conservative than Huckabee.
