Official CNN Tea Party Express Debate Thread

Dude. Read the post you replied to -- it clearly implies if Ron Paul was clearer with his message he would likely have more broad support. No one is claiming to know without a doubt what would happen in some alternate universe, it's a damned opinion. Chill out.

Oh, but I think you underestimate how seriously some people take this. They're all about "Paul should do it this way and his numbers will increase by X amount!" It's not about that. Nobody can claim to know that, and I know not everyone's saying that, but to think you know what will be viewed either overwhelmingly favorably or unfavorably in the eyes of the public is pure hogwash. I don't need to chill out. People need to chill out about Ron Paul's "numbers." Stop thinking it's my way or the highway and realize Ron is doing what he thinks is best. None of us can claim to know whether or not or how much support any individual statement will bring him. Again, some people really seem to think that it's their responsibility to tell Paul that their way is the best way, when they should just realize that they can't claim to know these things. To state otherwise is to be full of oneself.

Trust me. I talk to a wide demographics of people and there seems to be consistent theme and primary reservation about Ron Paul. "I like Ron Paul but (insert huge complaint)." Do you think Rand would be awkwardly quoting freaking Bin Laden in a national debate? Do you think Rand would be tricked into stating that kids should have access to heroin? Think of all the good he does in debates, but then he goes off the cuff and really insults people with stupidity. This is an election to WIN, not some kind of freak show. People are donating their scarce earnings in a attempt to change things.

There you go again, professing to know what words are best for the liberty movement, just like the fed claims to know how to control inflation or steer the economy. This "I know what Ron Paul should say and how he should say it, and this will tremendously increase his poll numbers by x amount in x amount of time." Puh-lease. Spare me.

Regardless of the reaction during the debate, regardless of what CNN and Fox News are saying now, when Ron Paul speaks as he did today, he wins voters. He told the truth, he stayed above the non-sense, he handle the silly questions with intelligence, and he explained his stances effectively when asked questions of substance. He really did an amazing job tonight.

Lol!

I just don't want to be banned for completely losing my shit...besides, more flies with honey than vinegar, or something like that?

I just can't believe that I can no longer align myself with the Tea Party! Some of them are my best customers...I'm going to have to step up and educate those who will listen, and continue to wake those who are ready to be unplugged.

As much as I want to give in and give up, I'm just going to have to redouble my collection of Red Pills.

BTW

Ari Fleicher is on CNN right now. Go to hell, Ari, you Clinton administration retread retard has been hack COCK SUCKER

I know two RP supporters that "liked" Perry's page, just to keep an eye on what they're doing.

The libertarian movement is a fearsome creature. What's there imprint? 2 to 3 percent nationally? The GOP sucks but the libertarian party is an utter joke. I don't even think they can collectively agree on what day it is.

if Ron Paul hadn't brought up the HPV issue with Perry, would it have been brought up at all?

I really think Ron bringing that up is going to be Perry's downfall. I mean, he was absolutley crushed on all sides for that tonight. It's all anyone is talking about.
