Ok. It just came off very awkward in that he appeared attributed to him in the manner in which he presented it. Still not smart.

He didn't say that. He specifically said that it wasn't he who believed this, it was Bin Laden, and we need to know the reasoning behind 9/11.

I think Paul started off answering that question well, but lost the crowd when he started quoting Osama. Overall I don't think that kills his performance thus far but I'm not riding as high as I was prior to his answer.

Remember that Ron got a similar reaction from the live crowd in May 2007, and Giuliani got a huge ovation for dressing him down. But that's when Ron broke out in popularity and won the viewer poll by a huge margin.
