**OFFICIAL 2016 NFL SEASON THREAD**

YAY! Wheather you care about football or not, another game in the Dome with the buzzards means more money rolling into my house. Personally, I didn't give a crap until Mr Animal showed me how much more money Atlanta games meant to our livelihood. That's when I became a true Falcon's fan. Rise up, BUZZARDS!!!:D

My dad always called them the Buzzards and I can't let that go but I root for them and go to games when I get free tickets.:)

Chargers not welcomed anywhere? No respect?

NFL is reportedly upset with Chargers, wants them to move back to San Diego

It looks like fans in San Diego aren't the only ones upset with the Chargers after the team made the decision to move to Los Angeles last week.

According to ESPN.com, pretty much everyone in the NFL hates the idea of the Chargers in L.A. One source told ESPN that many of the league's 32 owners are "upset with the Chargers for moving."

It's not just the owners, either. The league office is "beside itself" over the Chargers' move.

In what might be the most surprising part of the report, the NFL actually wants the Chargers to move back to San Diego, although the league doesn't actually think that's a realistic possibility.

Chargers owner Dean Spanos is probably going to be horrified when he hears this news, because he used to be one of the league's most beloved owners (among the other owners). Instead, he's now viewed as a villain in San Diego, no one seems to care for him in Los Angeles, and it seems that he's lost the backing of his fellow owners. That's a trifecta of ugliness that's going to be difficult to recover from.

The fact that the league was completely against the Chargers' move shouldn't come as a surprise. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell made it clear on several occasions that he wanted the Chargers to remain in San Diego.

Not only did Goodell say that keeping the Chargers in San Diego was a priority, but he also promised to give the city a Super Bowl if it could figure out a way to build a new stadium.

As for the owners, CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora can explain why they're upset. As La Canfora reported in early January, several owners had "grave concerns" about putting a second team in L.A. so soon.

After 21 years without a team, the league didn't want to rush into L.A. The owners and the league also didn't want to put a second team in the market with the Rams still trying to win fans over after a rough season. If the NFL starts to struggle in L.A., the owners are going to blame Spanos.

The Chargers are in a lose-lose situation right now, and the best shot at a win might be for Spanos to turn the moving trucks around and head back to San Diego. Of course, it is possible the Chargers will succeed in L.A., but the only way that will happen is if they're actually good over the next few years.

If it was not for Oakland the NFL would support CalExit to be rid of the Rams and Chargers , LOL

Deciding (for now) to keep the coach. (but leaving it to new GM). Usually it is the coach getting the ax- not the GM.

Pretty much most of the Colts obvious roster deficiencies that past couple seasons glaringly point to the GM . Pagano ( Coach) probably cannot be improved on with the available pool .

The Colts' problems are with the management and ownership. If the QB goes down and has to miss multiple games, it shouldn't sink the team, but it happened both with Manning and Luck.

The four starting QBs for today's championship games have accounted for seven Super Bowl titles. They are also a combined 29-1 since week 12 of the season (including playoff games) and all have won at least five in a row. That is pretty amazing.

Only one that matters today is Atlanta . Rise Up Buzzards !

Never in the history of the packers have they overcome a 24 point deficit . Largest deficit ever in a NFC / AFC Championship game that was overcome was 18 by the Indianapolis Colts .

Packers 3 and out . Falcons ball . Julio Jones show makes it 31 - 0 . Packers fans may weep . This will be the last NFC championship game for them , LOL

In years to come , that packers defensive roster is going to start to look like the Colts when they were under Grigson . I would expect the Vikings and Lions to dominate that division in the future .

Yes it is. Also, the reason teams move heaven and earth trying to land a QB.
