Obama's speech right now

Ah, that was a little hyperbole on my part. He wants socialist-style universal health care which is obscenely expensive. I just picked Cuba to reinforce the socialist cred that Obama has.

Obama's health care is different from Hillary's in that you don't have to buy in if you don't want to. I think that earns him some libertarian cred.

did Obama actually say anything or did he just talk about 'change' and a 'new movement in america' and the need for 'a new and clear direction that reaches out to everyone all over this great land' (woohooo)

I think if there's a new movement in America, we're gonna need RP to flush it down.

RP vs Obama would not be pretty.
Obama is a really really great speaker. Ron Paul is not.
Obama would speak, the people would be entranced, they would cheer when he finishes. Ron Pauls would step up to the mic, he would look like a frail looking old man (fallowing obama), he would stumble through his speech, using terms people have no clue about, scaring the crap out of them with truth. When Ron Paul got done talking most of the crowd would look like dear in headlights. :p

RP would make Obama look like a total moron in the debates. Period. Obama SAYS NOTHING WHEN HE TALKS.

I coulda swore he referred to the bush regime as being fascist and tyrannical ..
anyone hear that part?

think again.

obama got endorsed by volker... something tells me he knows what a mess we're in right now...

the way i see it.. if the money is gonna get spent (which it will, bc dr. paul is not winning this thing).. I'd at least much rather see it spent here at home trying to effect some kind of positive economic/social change (re: increase education spending, increase alternative energy funding etc.) than in the fucking desert of Iraq, which is exactly what the GOP wants to do (re: cut spending here, increase spending overseas).. its a god damn tragedy.

BP just got a ton of praise for being 'the most forward thinking oil/energy company'.. because of all the money they are putting into research towards alternative energies..

Want to know how much?? 8 billion dollars! WOOOHH... over 10 years!!! WOOWWOWW..

We spend 8 billion dollars a month in Iraq man...

Sometimes, free markets just don't work.. not with bastards like big oil.

Bwahahahahha! Libertarian cred for a socialized national health care plan? I'm afraid you don't understand the first thing about libertarianism, if you think Obama deserves libertarian cred for "allowing" people to not participate in socialized medicine. Did you miss the part where he's going to impose new rules and regulations on private health insurance companies via an oversight watchdog (i.e., bureacracy), increase Medicaid and SCHIP spending, and...oh yeah, PROVIDE PUBLICLY-FUNDED HEALTH CARE TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS IT?? Surely you don't think these things can be accomplished without raising taxes steeply, do you?

Libertarian cred....bwahahahahha!!!

Just like Standard Oil, right?

The Republican party is officially irrelevant. We're getting a Democratic house, senate and president in '08. Period. Deal with it.

The new administration will carry on the traditions of big government, the welfare state, and an extravagant, arrogant foreign policy. The economy will continue to struggle under the weight of excessive spending and the Fed's destruction of the dollar. Our civil liberties will continue to be undermined as it suits our rulers.

Our message will continue to resonate with people who have figured out that government has become the problem.

I think we can get some Ron Paul Republicans into federal, state and local office, but I think that is all that is on the table at this time.

Continue to spread the message. Support our people running for office. Stay engaged. Keep fighting.

Someone tell Obama you can't put a band aid on an amputation and call it fixed. I'd also like to hear where the rest of theses candidates with these big plans are going to get all the money for the programs they are promising

They're are going to print it asshole. Have you not learned that the more bills you have, the wealthier you are? Why do you think we keep printing money?

Just like Standard Oil, right?

so you're saying that BP's spending of a paltry 8billion dollars over 10 friggin years is respectable or perhaps even 'what the market calls for'??LOL These guys could care less about other, more efficient means of provided energy/power because the bloody margins on oil are insane... it aint gonna happen bud. period. These aren't the free markets RP 'idealizes' about.. the real world is a lot more screwed up and without him in control, its not going to change unless someone puts some serious weight down...

We piss billion in Iraq every other day... no one even bats an eye. But god forbid we spend that same 100billion making schools a little better or pay teachers a little more.. i know, keep it local - but guess what, that aint gonna happen either..

Assuming that its gonna get spent anyways (which it will.. dr. paul is not going to be president unfortunately) would you rather it spent here or Iraq??

I am afraid we are stuck with big gov until it collapses an evolves into NAU. RP was the last hope to change that but his affirmation of not running 3rd party has completely vanished the hope of making some changes in our nation. I honestly don't think Barack will change the war issue as he has said. As a matter of fact he has campaigned on “winning” the war on terror and on withdrawing from Iraq. I think that as a member of the CFR he’s got to fall in ranks and stay in line with the top dogs. That together with socialized healthcare will bring this nation to it’s knees sooner than we think.

Even if we could wait, unfortunately with don’t have anyone else in congress or in any level of this stinking gov to prep for 2012. By the way, I doubt we will have the same gov structure as we have now. Sorry to say, but it will be worse.

Dude, we don't have a free market, we have a hugely regulated market. If the government wasn't throwing money at oil companies left and right, if the government hadn't taken over the education system, we'd have clean energy, probably would have had it by 1960.

I've been listening to this for god knows how long. I have taken one thing out of it.

Obama will kick the living shit out of Huckabee, or Mccain. Period.

Ron Paul was the only one who could have competed with this guy. And the GOP marginalized him, they laughed at him on national TV. After I vote for ron paul in the general, I will never, not ever vote for the GOP again.

I cannot believe how unbelievably stupid the GOP is.

As much as I don't want to see Obama president, I'd love to see him smack the smirk off McCain and the GOPs face. No, I'm not voting for him or supporting him.

Barack won't change shit, he voted to fund the war all the way into 2010. He also voted to increase the budget for the pentagon by 500 bnillion dollars, and then he voted to gradually increase it over a period of 5 years.

If any of you think he understands fiscal, monetary or foreign policy, your wrong, period.

I'm 23 and will continue Ron Paul congress we will win everybody this movement is so much stronger then they know. we can make these changes we stand together look at the new Alaskan republican party they have made HUGE CHANGES!!!

i know man.. i agree 100%

but the reality is so god damn different.. especially today, just a month since the very first primary.

If Dr. Paul had been aggressive with his ads (used your videos even in 30minute infomercials - challenged the voters to look at what he stands for, beat hard on the war issue and fiscal issues, take on the msm blackout asking people why a guy who just raised 20million dollars - obama and clinton type funding - received only 1% of all presidential coverage (citing studies)).. if he had spent and acted boldly the morning after we sent him 4.3 million dollars (and even more boldly the morning after 6.1million) perhaps the reality of today would be a bit different.. perhaps we wouldnt be sitting here, wondering what if...

perhaps i wouldn't be sitting here saying, whats the lesser of two evils.. spend money here on "social programs" or "cut all domestic spending and go nuts overseas"??
