Obama said he would have all troops out of Iraq by today

So if the date has not been met then the pledge has been broken.

Quiet, mundane!

Didn't the man tell you that it will happen, someday, maybe, possibly??!!

Who are you to question the great and powerful Oz?!

Jesus weeping Christ, let Ron or Rand break a pledge of this magnitude and see what the reaction would be.

And yes, the pledge was broken, 98,000 is NOT all, for fuck's sake.

But close. I mean when your dealing in 10+ of trillions in monetary debt a number like 98,000 in human life seems kinda small in comparison. Of course we mundanes shouldn't try to understand it. We are dealing with numbers here. Proles just don't understand. Do we?

No, much too complex for us mere mundanes.

Our leaders know what's best, they have information we don't.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::mad::mad::mad:

The date may not be correct but the intention to get troops out of Iraq still seems to be in effect and progress towards that has been made.

Replacing 98k underpaid regular military with 140k overpaid private mercenary contractors is progress..... how exactly?
