Now Peter Schiff Named Economic Advisor to Ron Paul 2008

Believe me, Tom McClintock (California) would make for a GREAT addition to Paul's team. That would give him some real credibility within the Republican Party.

don't know if this has been posted yet, and definitely DON'T feel like read all 11 pages to find out.

Peter Schiff has heavily endorsed Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul[6] and started an e-mail campaign[7] asking his clients and colleagues to donate the legal maximum of $2,300 to the Ron Paul presidential campaign

Briefly, I thought it could have been George Soros because of:

"In early January 2007, Soros was interviewed by Wolf Blitzer of CNN. Blitzer began the interview by asking Soros about the following quote that appears in Soros's newly published book, The Age of Fallibility: "The Bush administration and the Nazi and communist regimes all engaged in the politics of fear. Indeed, the Bush administration has been able to improve on the techniques used by the Nazi and Communist propaganda machines by drawing on the innovations of the advertising and marketing industries." When Blitzer asked him to defend that assertion, Soros replied:

""You actually picked out the most incendiary part of the book, and I am very careful to draw a clear distinction between the Nazi regime and our open society, because we are a democracy. But there are some similarities in the propaganda methods, which I pointed out. ... I think there are some serious arguments about our open society being endangered by the policies followed by the Bush administration. The war on terror, which does not have an end, changes, it leads to an undue extension of executive powers. It has stifled debate. Criticizing the president is considered unpatriotic, and as a result, we have been following policies which endanger our traditional [unintelligible]."

With such an understanding of the Nazi and Communist philosophies it is difficult to see how he could support socialism as it is only a short step away fromour current fascism and eventual totalitarianism.

But I read some and see that he likes Democrats. See Wiki:

" In the United States, he is known for having donated large sums of money in a failed effort to defeat President George W. Bush's bid for re-election in 2004. On BookTV, November 12, 2007, he said that he supports Barack Obama for the Democratic candidate in the 2008 election, but says that John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, or Joe Biden are all fine candidates, as well."

Oh, well. :)

Excellent. This was in July.

I think it is easy to see which gentleman was correct. :)

BTW, I have never seen an endorsement by Luskin, just an article that was complimentary. Who says he is an advisor?

Mr. Schiff definitely is proving to have a better understanding of the economic situation-he saw it coming.

Luskin + Schiff = Economic power-army. No they may not get along all the time, no they may not see eye to eye. But, with these two teamed up and advising Ron Paul on his Economic policy, is a win-win for everyone involved. I believe, Luskin+Schiff+Paul = John McCains nightmare come alive. I laughed at as his face and answer as he stumbled over the question RP asked him last night. I have complete faith that the campaign is making it's last stand, and their starting to shore things up, now.

somebody please find a comic book cover with three superheros on it, or a picture of three superheros. Edit it out to put the faces of Paul, Luskin and Schiff on it. The theme is that these three dudes are here to rescue the economy.

Being a candidate and debating is stuff Dr. Paul was handling on his own.... He just gave the Republican Party ONE HELL OF A RAISE in this poker game.

QFT! Hello GOP? Anybody listening?

Ron Paul is assembling an economic powerhouse army!

I hope the Old Media covers this as news!

I hope this is true. I have always said it is economics that will win Ron Paul this election.

All the other issues are great and all but the masses can feel the hurt that economics plays in our lives. It is our own money that will destroy us and Ron Paul is our only hope to save us from this disaster.

I try to get everyone I know to understand this fact regardless of what other issues they are worried about.

Gotta Catch 'em ALL!

If the bottom falls out of the economy guess who is going to have *all* the economon!

Yes Yes YES, we must get to any and all high profile people.

You must understand people, once the word about Ron Paul gets to a large enough point it will get to the point that he will double his popularity over night. Once this point is reached his popularity will double by the day instead of by the month.

Get out and tell someone about Ron Paul. Tell them that he is our only hope to save our economy and our only chance to beat any of the democrats. It is Ron Paul or bust people.

Join as a precinct leader. It is not as big of a deal as other make it out to be. Just do what you can with it and fill in what you did. It is that simple. SO DO IT!

Luskin and Schiff know many millionaires and maybe billionaires that take what they say seriously. And most likely made them lots of money. I hope some of these guys start pumping money into the campaign.

OMG, I am a very big man. But I would sob like a little baby if that turned out to be true. It almost brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.

These guys ARE advertisements. Having their names behind Paul's message is of tremendous value. Now there's more than just him saying it, and there's more time available to be spent talking about it, while he's free to be on the ground in states campaigning. This isn't about them advising him, this is about them giving interviews for him. Endorsements that keep going and going and going...

This is EXACTLY what several of us in the grassroots who have a few connections told the campaign they needed to do after we saw what was going wrong in NH. We need major endorsements and we need them stumping. We were told we were heard, and I'm glad to see it appears to be true. (We also told them to get Rand Paul doing interviews for the same reason... have you checked the campaign site's schedule lately?)

Yes exactly what I wanted to focus on. Anyone who a lot of people will see and listen to needs to be endorsing Ron Paul. Pronto!

Dr. Doom! The media calls him Dr. Doom!

Schiff is a genius but the media calls him Dr. Doom!

Now we have Dr. No and Dr. Doom! This is starting to sound like a James Bomd movie! lol

this is news that got my heart going. best news since tea party

I have to agree with everything you just said. I am literally jumping with glee.

Both of these guys are frequently interviewed by the MSM. Now when they are introduced they can be introduced as "Ron Paul's economic advisor" and they can relate the questions to Ron Pauls policies! This is EXCELLENT.

Both guys used to be interviewed frequently by MSM. That will probably change, or they'll be asked to not mention Paul during their interviews. And I was under them impression that they're more like paid contributors than interviewees.
