November 5th Money Bomb!

We now have more people invited to our event than people from Rand Paul 2016 Facebook page (it is not official campaign page).

Likes, comments and shares are really needed on the Facebook post.

Even taking a second to give it a like helps Facebook know that it should show the image in other people's feed. Comments can be simple like #StandWithRand or "I'm in" or "Shared" or anything like that.

+Reps for comments and shares.

The facebook group is growing at a rate of like 5 people a day. Well that's depressing.

In the money bombs of 2012 we had actual Facebook attendance goals that we were shooting for. The goals were listed directly in the thread titles and we had graphs posted showing our progress toward those goals. For example Black This Out had an attendance goal of 25,000 I believe and we were able to get passed 20,000 attendees. Goals are very important for motivating people. Without them, we have no target to shoot for and people aren't motivated to help reach it. Maybe we should consider deciding on a target number.

Also, what about the referral link idea to get people competing in promotion. This was very successful for Black This Out, but I seem to be the only one bringing it up. Is it just too complicated to implement?

In the Black this out money bomb I remember on the website we had a place to sign up to receive a referral link. People would then promote the money bomb everywhere and use the referral link that they got from the site. The rankings were listed on the website. When unique people clicked on your referral link, your total would change and the rankings would update. The top 3 referrers received prizes. If I remember right I think the top prize was to meet Ron Paul, but it's been a while so I can't be sure. The point is if the rewards are a strong enough motivator, then a system like this will act as an engine for promotion. It's much better than expecting people to promote by themselves. Can something like this be put together? If you need help with it, try checking out the main promotion thread for black this out to see if you can find more info on it.

First goal 500, then 1000 if and when needed.

How did that work?

I described it in the quote above. I believe Dusman was the one running the website, so he would probably know more about how the system was setup. People need to be able to get a unique referral link and there needs to be a rankings page on the website showing how many people clicked on your referral link. The people who promote the best, get the highest rankings. Even if it would take a long time to implement, we could use it for future money bombs and the moneystream idea.

Gage just posted this in another thread, thought it might be useful in MB promotion.

+Reps for comments & shares on Facebook

And still an offer of +Reps for joining the Facebook event and inviting friends

http://www.Facebook.com/events/951593931573403

Even if you don't have friends to invite, just by selecting "Going" you are helping. The more people marked as Going the more likely new people that get invited will be to join.

And the more people an event has Going the more Facebook will suggest it to other people that like Rand's page.

Been promoting on Twitter for past several weeks, pushing for support on Thunderclap (currently at 74 of 250 goal, social reach 88,480). I am sure this will pick up as we get closer, but does that still go out if it we don't meet the 250 goal?

Got it. I'll keep pushing!

+Rep and thank you for promoting

Like Barrex said, if it doesn't get at least 250 supporters it doesn't go out. So that's why everyone that joins is helping.

Even if your own social reach is 1, you are still important and needed in order to get the message out.
