NH supporters... what do you think will happen?

Free State Project has brought a few thousand people there. We sent all the NY Meetup, Pa Meetup, NJ Meetup members there... used phone banks... currently making 68,000 Automated calls with polling information and Ron Paul messages... we may very well tell a few McCain supporters how to get to the polls--but they'll also be hearing McCain's voice on the line saying "100 years in Iraq"

Even George Bush would call him a moron.

Correction, free state project has 500 people

Easy to say the ads are lame when they aren't targeted at you.

Easy to criticise the campaign when you are sitting in your basement and are a million miles away from the HQ boardroom.

Paul needs 1st or 2nd or it is pretty much over. He has single digit support in MI, NV & SC. Coming in third or worse won't help that.

You are mistaken. We are truly running a 50 state campaign, anything better than 5th will add momentum to our movement.

Exactly, I just don't understand this defeatist attitude considering we haven't even seen our first primary yet.

Really, then why did Fred Thompson who isn't even trying to be President beat Paul?

Can we now please wake up while it seems like we may still have a bit of time to salvage this sinking ship!

database saboteur, iowan people, mass media much?

Berri. Go away. The primary hasn't even been held yet. Back off and just go away.

No one, NO ONE!, wants to listen to your fatalistic attitude. This isn't a GAME! This is our country being assaulted at its core (the Constitution).

The more I think about it, the more I think you may be a plant from another campaign, perhaps Huckabee or McCain? Hmm?

So, just GO AWAY. You have your own candidate to support.

thompson spent a lot of time in iowa.

and what would you suggest to "salvage this sinking ship" because right now i see you doing nothing but bitching.

Wake the fuck up and see that we are not exactly in a winning position would be a good start!

This is excellent news.

Double digits again would be good and we would keep our momentum. Beating one major candidate (Ghoul) would be excellent and further our momentum. Everything else (3rd place or better) would be a sensation.

"The Ron Paul Sensation"
I can see that being the top story on the Situation Room this Wednesday if we do better than 3rd in NH.

I really want to remainoptimistic, but I'd be a liar if I said that the Iowa results and then Wyoming, didnt knock me down quite a few pegs.

I've spent much conversation time with naysayers in pointing out how flawed the polling is, only to have them all laugh in my face when they were almost dead money in Iowa.

Maybe I'm just a little Gun shy, or maybe I'm just let down that the Redskins and Ron Paul lost big contests in the same week!

There was a report from a Wyoming precinct captain that was very encouraging, and that would be worth a look for New Hampshire grassroots. Look over Iowa comments, too. It's important to learn from mistakes.

haha, you should be a political advisor with that kind of sound advice. i'm sure you would be hired immediately seeing as how you are obviously the smartest person on this message board. can we have any other genius pieces of advice or do we have to pay for your services?

Iowa said cold calling worked wonders in that state. The 30 ft pole guy is from Iowa, and he said he learned about Ron Paul 3 days before the caucus - from a cold caller. He was so enthusiastic, he traveled to New Hampshire and attended last night's debate.

Guard those lists with your lives! Make back-ups and hard copies!

Just common sense man.

Ron Paul offers freedom and stopping peoples kids being killed by war profiteers. Why did Iowa and Wyoming reject this?
You don't want to know why? that is sad!
obviously the message of peace and life is not being sold correctly, who could possibly reject this message and why?

I keep pointing this out but Iowa had fairly low turnout, except for a very high turnout of Evangelicals. New Hampshire doesn't have that factor working against Paul. Also the organization and grassroots in New Hampshire is light years ahead of what it was in Iowa.

Turnout killed us in Iowa, but that won't be the problem in New Hampshire. People who are there can talk about this in more detail than me, but that's what I've seen from many NH supporters.

So are you saying that HIGH turnout will actually HELP us, contrary to popular wisdom?

Berri, I am amazed as well to hear people say that we are about to win this thing at 9% in the polls. These people are delusional.

Oh yeah the delusion is beyond belief!

Instead of these supporters working out where it is going wrong and fixing the problem so we can win this, they are ignoring the problems and making out Ron Paul has already won the election. Delusion is sad isn't it?
