And there are some who say that you're a Romney supporter.
Yeah those thousands of phone from home calls I made were all a plot to overthrow the Paul campaign.

Just because someone assesses things realistically does not mean that they are not a Paul supporter. The topic at hand was how Romney may or may not try to appeal to Paul supporters. Given that it is important to determine what is meant by "Paul supporters", is it the total of those that voted for Paul in the primaries, or is it the hardcore base. As I stated in this thread, I think what they are referring to is the overall support (i.e. the 1.5 million that voted for Paul) and not the hardcore Paul supporters that we find on RPF and similar sites.
Through my personal interaction with average voters who voted for Paul in the PA primary and with some of my connections here locally, DeMint would be a choice that many of them would applaud. Just because he does not appeal to the hardcore base, does not mean he wouldn't have a broader appeal to those that voted for Paul in the primary contests.
It is important that we keep things in perspective and realize that the hardcore base is a mere fraction of Paul's overall support.
